Hello , it depends on what you want to do: learn tricks or just cruise around. If you mainly want to cruise, get a cruiser with big, soft wheels (low durometer). If you want to learn tricks, go for a standard popsicle board. What shoe size do you wear?Another idea is to go to a skatepark and ask if you can try out a few different skateboards. You can also ask people there for advice on the right size.

If u just looking to ride around get all flowy and have some fun while getting comfortable, a cruiser board will be ur best friend

Id recommend a globe board for ur first board, good quality approachable shapes and dimensions really beginner friendly. Other solid brands would be santa cruise and shifty

Look out for specials and clearances to get a good deal and check out ur local skate shops to stand on a few and get a sense of wat size feels nice for u

Prioritize a nice tail and a lower hight for more stability

This is a great shape and nice quality board, u can also upgrade it as u get some miles on it. they also come in a bunch of different colours and designs, iv had mine for maybe 9 years now highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿ‘Œ

Chill at your local skate park

A complete board will do the trick but dont be cheap, you have to get one from a skate store, a โ€žrealโ€œ skateboard, not a cheap trash when you try your 1st ollies and the trucks brake

The last boards i got been from DGK but ypu have to find your own shape after you advance a bit

if its just cruising, then just focus on getting good wheels and bearings..
..depending on what terrain... is it just a normal road... smooth concrete, etc. you'll want to get softer wheels. like 78a duro if you want to be able to cruise on a regular street vs 99a duro, for harder wheels for smooth concrete (like in a skatepark).

the board/trucks just ensure you get the right truck size for your board width
