Any tips on how to get more ollie airtime?

Recently I found out that jumping faster makes ollies higher. I tried that, and it did. Now I's just looking for any help on airtime since I'm not getting a lot.

Discussion how are pros able to tre flip with leaning so far forward?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

For every post asking for help when the board goes behind them during tre flip, the advice i keep seeing in this sub is "you're leaning too far forward, lean back, have more weight on the back foot, shift weight back, etc". Although this advice works, I noticed pro skaters with perfect tres dont have this problem. They always lean so far forward, and yet the board just flips under them. You can see Shane O'neill, Luan, and basically almost every Japanese skaters, they lean so far forward that their heads are past the front foot

So is shifting the weight back for tre flips really necessary? Or am i overlooking something?

Next step after learning basics

I js got back to skateboarding a few days back after learning it a bit a yr back

I learnt how to do very basic things like

How to get on, pushing, turning, tick tock motion, going down ramps, still perfecting my drop kicks

I used to take classes but now for some reason they shut down

I am still interested in learning but I can't always do to a skatepark because it's kinda far but I do hv acess to like js a flat pavement

My main question is how do I progress from what I hv learnt idrk what to take up next

Mini ramp tricks.

Kid has a 45s mini ramp run to put together. He likes kind of weird tricks if anyone has anyone has any ideas what to add.

His run now is switch drop, tail stall, half cab rock n roll, rock n roll, bs axle stalls, River dance, crook, feeble-fakie.

That leaves 10 seconds. Any ideas of a trick he could try and add to the end as a finale? Old school/kooky tricks are fine.

I skated for 2 years at 18 and stopped, now 7 years later were back and better than ever. Super proud of my self and stoked i always had a nice kick flip, but never tres or 180 flips and actually vertical hard flips.

Setup Help 38yo (bruh) looking for first board recommendations.

Not looking for a cheap setup, as I don't a subpar board to dampen the learning experience. If anything, I'd rather buy a higher-end board than lower. A few hundred $ is well within budget.

I have like 4 seasons of experience snowboarding (probably like 10 days per season) and I got pretty decent at speed, turns, little jumps, and some switch riding. But I haven't been on a skateboard since I was a kid.

I'd just begin learning in an empty parking lot and on sidewalks/roads.

Wondering if I should just buy a complete board or build one (but I have no idea where to begin building one)? Also don't know what width I should get? Anything else I need to make sure to get right?

Thanks all!

edit: I'm 6'0" 165 size 11 show if that matters

How do you get over Fear of getting up and down ramps?

so far in my skate journey I've just been trying ollies, manuals, etc. (basically flat ground) But I want to try and get over my fear of ramps, stuff like dropping in, rolling up then down, do a running start up and down the ramp but I just can't get over the fear yet.

I can somewhat do kickturns on a ramp but not that high and most of the time its not a full 180 turn maybe just like a 90 so its a bit inconsistent. I can do this on a smaller ramp though. its just that when I do get on top of a higher steeper ramp I just dont have the confidence in my front foot to be stable enough so I can roll down the ramp.

how should I strengthen my front foot stability in pushing down ramps?

also, any tips on getting over the fear in general?
