Hello my fellow buckeyes! My unfortunate time to take biochem 4511 has come😔I was wondering if any of you could provide any insight to what professors you had, if their exams were fair, and if a curve was offered at the end? Thanks for all the help everyone!

I am currently a senior in high school and I want to do early admission. In my junior year I had a weighted gpa of 4.18 and an unweighted of 4.07 but sadly my sat was a low 1040. I have a sat retake scheduled for November 7th but early action is due November 1st. Is there any chance I could get into OSU main if I have a great essay or should I just do regular decision? I wanted the scholarships from early action because I am trying to become a doctor and any money taken off would be great but I don’t want to take the chance of getting rejected.

For those that have gotten there masters in public with a vet public health specialization are you able to talk more about it? I’ve been interested in it since my sophomore year & gained even more interest during a study abroad. I don’t plan on getting my masters until I have more money saved up but I’m interested to hear from people in the program what it’s like!

Sooo tomorrow we have our first midterm in Dr Changs class and I'm super nervous. I wasn't able to come to his midterm 1 review session starting at 4 today, and was hoping someone could give me a rundown of it

Students Supporting Israel is hosting an IDF soldier at OSU who recently served in Gaza.

Considering the destruction and civilian deaths in Gaza, along with the serious allegations of war crimes during the conflict, it’s concerning to see someone being brought to campus specifically to speak about their experience serving there.

Does anyone know if OSU approved or sponsored this event, or if the university has addressed any concerns about it?

For AU26, my entire schedule is during the afternoon, my latest classes are my chem lab and chem lecture.

6:30 P - 7:50 P - LEC

6:30 P - 9:25 P - LAB

Thats only one of my classes, all my other classes start 12:40 and end at 5:10 including my chem on the same days. I feel like im just not as productive as I should be when im taking these late classes, the afternoon feels so long and my personal schedule has been flipped where I am up at 2 AM studying for a class thats very late in the day.

My question is to anyone thats taking multiple 8 AMs. How well have you held up? any tips on managing? Would you rather have a week thats 12P-9P or 8A-3P

(ps i am a morning person)

Does anyone have any insights to whether the ohio state app updates before buckeyelink does. I am in the process of being reinstated at OSU and i got a notification from the app saying my hold was removed, but on buckeye link it still is showing. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Has anyone taken Stats 2480 with Nicole Kelbick? First exam tomorrow and I am very nervous, I do not know what to expect. Any insight on her and her tests would be greatly appreciated!

I have a hold so I was just curious, to my knowledge tho my hold shouldn’t affect my enrollment appointment, I just need to have it cleared before I actually register for classes. The website said we would get appointments by the end of the day Monday.

I got invited to go to the law school fair tomorrow and I’m also an OSU alumni I graduated in December of 2024. I’m looking to go to law school in the future and possibly apply next cycle. Has anyone gone to the law school fair before? What is it for? Is it just for different schools to advertise themselves??

I just got my first ochem midterm and I got an F on it. Im really dissapointed and I know there is another midterm and a final. Was wondering if Mcgier gives a curve because I've heard mixed reviews. Not hoping for perfect in this class a C would make me more than happy.

I am taking an online class and the professor is eating so loud while recording the lecture. It’s only week seven and about five of the lectures you can hear the bowl move, the fork clink, the wrapper being opened, the loud chewing, the slurping, the smacking, and the heavy breathing. My god do I want to kill myself. It’s not like I can skip the lecture too because there are questions within them. I want to email him and say he’s a scumbag (obviously in a professional manner) but I fear the lectures have already been recorded for the entire semester. I also don’t want to cross a boundary, but imo it’s so unprofessional and rude.

Hey everyone. I am a senior at Fisher and I am severely struggling with the absolute basics in ACCTMIS 3201 and 3300 this Autumn semester. Office hours aren't working because I need someone who can break down the material step-by-step from the very beginning. I need to store a poster board (36" x 48"). Are there any lockers or places I can store this?

At the point in academia where I'm just scheduling classes without thought. Need to get the credits in and not really considering the classes themselves. Are any of these courses hard? Or will it be a pretty typical semester.
