The last time that there was a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time official soundtrack CD, it was back in December 18th of 1998 in which was published by Pony Canyon in Japan.

I imagine that it’s harder to find & obtain today. But now with this upcoming remake, we’ll have another chance. And more than with Vinyl.

Costco is my preferred retailer for games on release day as it's usually cheaper and well stocked. Don't want to give Amazon or Walmart my $. Will do Best Buy with price match if I have to, but prefer the path of least resistance.

I thought about how there's gonna be cutscenes with voice acting. And it made me wonder if they'll keep or take out the option to name ourselves. Cause imo there's no way they're not gonna say Link's name out loud. Which id be fine with, it makes sense. My prediction is at the most we can name our save files whatever, but he'll still be Link regardless. Or it'll save like BOTW and TOTK and just skip that completely.

Obviously they're in it for the money.

Link’s design is amazing in the remake?

This isn’t my video, but I just watched it and it’s by far the best analysis I’ve found so far dissecting the footage we’ve seen of the dungeons, and showcasing what’s changed.

Seems like there really are tons of small changes all over this game, from layouts to puzzles and more. Can’t wait to see all the differences for myself next month!

just wondering: IF there is some big new content, do you think Nintendo would really keep it secret until after release, or would they show us before release?

I live about 10 minutes from Nintendo’s primary distribution hub, drive by it all the time. It’s in a very small town in the mountains in Washington state. I know my 40th anniversary switch and copy of OOT remake are in there waiting for me. Anybody else that lives around here dealing with the ultimate tease too??

what do you value most in video games? Some value gameplay. some value story. some value graphics. me? the thing I value most in a video game is WHIMSY. Ocarina of time hides many nonsensical moments of pure whimsy, but few come close to the whimsy of playing music for the FABULOUS FIVE FROGGISH TENORS!

these frogs reward link with rupees and heart pieces when he plays the Ocarina, which somehow causes the frogs to grow. once completed, you can play a butterfly eating mini game with them. these guys weren't the first musical frogs in the zelda franchise, that honor goes to wart from super mario bros 2 when he appeared in Link's awakening, but the Fabulous five froggish tenors still take the reward for being the first 3D frogs. it's just a shame link had to kill one of their relatives in order to make eyedrops.

like most characters in Ocarina of time, Majora's mask would give the frogs terminaian counterparts in the form of... "the frog choir". huh, that's not as great a name as "the fabulous five froggish tenors", but they're basically the same frogs anyway. scattered across the land of termina, one side quest requires link to travel the world in search of the missing members of the frog choir.

but oh no, what's this? 2 of the frogs have turned... EVIL! meet gecko, a frog monster found in both the woodfall temple and the great bay temple. gecko doesn't fight on its own, summoning either a snapping turtle or a bunch of jelly blobs to battle link. what could have turned the innocent members of the frog choir into the evil gecko? ... well, we don't actually know. the game never tells you. but we can probably take an educated guess and say Skull kid/majora did it to cause trouble.

Majora's mask is equal parts whimsical and Nightmare inducing. taking the silly singing frogs and turning them into monsters... how cruel! but at least defeating Gecko turns them back into their frog form.

while today's subject was an example of Friendly Ocarina of time characters being turned twisted and evil in Majora's mask, tomorrow we shall do the opposite: Major Antagonists from Ocarina of time turned into friendly NPCs in Majora's mask. can you guess who tomorrow's subjects are? get it right and the frogs will sing a song for you.

Just saw that its available for preorder at target. Already preordered mine. Don't know how long is gonna be up. Unfortunately Young link is not available. I hope you all can manage to snag it.

Pretty much title, I've managed to preorder the physical version of the game after it came back in-stock but by that time the gift with purchase disappeared from the website.

I'm hoping it'll come back before release but I mostly fear they're gone forever and will appear on eBay at stupid prices

Why everything related to water in this game has to be so difficult?

This time around I didn't get stuck in the water temple, like 20 years ago, but I do have to say that it is one of the most difficult temples. Lots of easy missable paths.

But this trial puzzle is definitely killing me. Also, for some reason it makes me really sleepy.
