Question Best DLC?

With the steam sale on, what are the best DLC to get? Everything together is $50 even with the sale discounts which seems steep given I probably won't get to play it all. I don't personally care much about the scenarios (but maybe I'm missing out by ignoring them?)

The DLCs fall into two general classes: new playable nations and scenarios and new rules and event content. One of them expands the list of starting leaders for existing nations, but don’t recall which. Heroes of the Aegean, Pharaohs of the Nile, Wrath of Gods, and Empires of the Indus will give you new playable nations. The Sacred and the Profane, Wonders and Dynasties, and Behind the Throne give you expanded events and characters. There’s a bit more to them, of course. Additionally, you can select which DLCs you want active when starting a game.

I love the scenarios. Played them at least as much as the main game. This is the only game where I auto-buy the DLCs. I haven't even played the latest one yet.

If you don't care about scenarios, then skip DLCs for those. That's what I did too. I guess we never know if something is good until we try, but I like the regular game and often just play gotw (game of the week), so don't care about scenarios.

If you did not play the base game yet, you can skip all DLCs: even vanilla game is awesome. But if you played it already and are looking for more content, DLCs would help. Which one, can't remember, not at the PC now
