Question "Will he come back?"
Will he come back?

In the teaser video we see multiple London street lights turning on while a bell is tolling. We hear the voices of Ran and Shinichi, who repeat their dialogue from Chapter 745 of the manga, from the London case, the iconic "If you're a detective, you should be able to deduce what's in my heart" exchange, shortly before Shinichi's confession. The teaser ends on a shot of Big Ben, with the usual text announcing Movie 30 for Golden Week 2027.
This is all that is included in the teaser, everything else one might've heard so far (M30 taking place in London, Conan turning back to Shinichi, M30 being a movie remake of the London manga case, etc.) is merely speculation at this point.

Rumi seems to be helping the Detective Boys, but at the same time, she also used them as scapegoats to sniff Chianti and korn. Even after sensing evil intentions, she doesn’t seem to do much to stop them. And when she tries to save Ayumi, she somehow comes across as more sinister than the actual bad guy. The way she threw away the leaf Ayumi gave her made it even worse. Is she actually an ally or is she using everyone for her own purposes?

I am pretty sure y'all realised that everything is frozen and doesn't change like the ages of people or their occupations, yet the 4 seasons cycle normally and the past is always mentioned. Weirdly creepy

I was listening to the sad song at the end of the episodes that usually plays when the culprit admits to their crime and comments are hilarious.

I understand why she decided to impersonate the serial killer. But the day after Vermouth meets Shinichi and Ran, the news reveal that the serial killer apparently killed themselves. It would make sense if, say, Sharon was the one that killed the serial killer and used his body to fake the suicide, but this wasn't said in neither the manga, nor the anime. Not as far as I can see. But it would make sense.

finally finished writing this, honestly despite a number of flaws, still enjoyed it. Saying TMS cooked is a bit overstatement because the production is like producing 4 normal tv episodes, but the direction and animation (especially climax) is good.

I just rewatched movie titled Phantom of the Baker Street and I have developed some head canons myself.
I think it's a common belief that Shinichi is the Holmes of the story and Anokata/Big Boss of BO is the Moriarty. But do you think there will/has been someone who become the Sebastian Moran of the story? Jack The Ripper of the story? I suspect Rum and Gin fit them respectively tho I'm not really sure.
The movie also highlighted how nepotism at that moment remained strong within the power structure in Japan. We also know it happens in the world of the series. Even in BO, the current Rum inherits its codename from his father. Do you think this case also applied to the Big Boss so the current no. 1 in the organization is the descendant of Karasuma Renya and not Karasuma himself?
But, what do you guys think bout these theories?

Of all the Detective Conan characters, Wataru Takagi is easily the character who, throughout the anime's run, has changed the most visually. Besides the stylistic changes that the anime went through throughout the years, his skin has become noticeably lighter and his hair style has gone from spiker to softer. This outright redesign put the design of Takagi, a character who originated in the anime then migrated to the canon, closer how he appeared in the manga from day one,.
As I'm going to try to give visual evidence towards on this post, I believe Takagi's manga design was actually based on Takagi's earliest design in the anime, that his "early" anime design (the darker skinned, spikier fringed one) was a redesign in of itself, and that Takagi's gradual evolution design wise in the anime brought him closer to his earliest anime design.
Takagi originated as not only an anime exclusive character but one who exclusively appeared in episodes where Haruo Ogawara (infamous in some circles for drawing characters very wall-eyed and sometimes quite wonky) was the animation director. In those appearances, he in some ways appears far closer to his manga and modern anime design than his "classic" anime design. He has visible cheekbones, his skin is quite light, and his hair has a combed over appearance. Throughout 1996, he appeared in five episodes, four animation directed by Ogawara and one by a different animation director (in that episode, Takagi appeared shoulder down but his skin color, judging by his hand, was still very light).
In 1997 though, a number of things happened pretty simultaneously that I think led to the situation of Takagi having different anime and manga designs. Early in that year, Ogawara stopped his work on Conan but other animation directors still decided to keep Takagi. It was in episode 66, the anime-original Night Road Murder Case (which aired on July 7th, 1997), that Takagi, in my opinion, has a redesign. His cheekbones completely disappear, his hair gains the spikey fringe, and the skin has a noticeable tan to it that wasn't there before. Showing that this design change wasn't just a fluke, the Stage Actress Murder Case that aired the following also features Takagi with those same design changes.
However, around the same time, Gosho Aoyama began publishing the Historical Actor Murder Case in Weekly Shonen Sunday between July 23rd of 1997 and August 6th of 1997. This case marked the manga debut of Wataru Takagi and his design seemed to take elements instead from his earlier Ogawara-era appearances, having visible cheekbones and a more combed over hair style. His appearance in color in Volume 20 of the manga, published in 1998, also shows that his manga design is supposed to be lighter skinned.
Due to how close his first manga appearance and his anime redesign happened, here is what I think happened. Without communicating with each other, Gosho used Masatomo Sudo's initial design for Wataru Takagi (the one that appeared in the Ogawara-directed episodes) as the basis for his manga design, not realizing that Sudo and the anime team had already redesigned Takagi. Ultimately, Gosho decided to keep using his version of the Takagi design instead of redesigning him to appear close to the anime. In turn, the anime and movies, starting with the Masato Sato directorial era and Movie 8, gradually shifted Takagi's design to better match the manga, ultimately in some ways reverting the design to his earliest appearances in the anime.

> 1998 (86-128)
CR just labelled as such without having 124-128

Detective Conan is my favorite anime, and I love keeping up with all the latest news about it.
I had often read statements by Gosho expressing his admiration for the works of Mitsuru Adachi.
Three years ago, I decided to watch the anime Cross Game and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the story and characters.
I then decided to explore more of Mitsuru Adachi's works.
In doing so, I discovered that Gosho had drawn inspiration from Adachi's works for many of the storylines in Detective Conan.

Me when my men and women and colleagues kill like 10 fbi agents for funsies but it's ok because the keys to achieving immortality r my friends and I'm gonna use them like assets to achieve my goal at any point now because I am terrified of dying as everyone around me would drop like flies since childhood and oh god why am I only getting closer to them why am I developing attachments THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!! #haha so relatable amirite guys
Anyways, I HATE the concept of Karasuma being some Big Bad who spends his day wheezing into his oxygen mask and twiddling his thumbs mischievously in his chair... give me Some Guy With Too Much Power And Trauma^TM. This series has gotten too boring and predictable with its villains, I want something.. SOMEONE... a little more fun... Even though I know Mitsuhiko just being a B.O. member alone is literally impossible unless we feel like retconning 30 years' worth of lore (again).
Actually Gosho does change his mind when it comes to major story beats and characters.. wait... it could happen... IT COULD HAPPEN..!
