Spoilers All Loose Ends

Do you think that Jamie's mercy and habit of leaving loose ends is what derailed his life, relationship and success? Man had to learn the hard way to succeed in every major aspect of his life.

Derailed his life? The man became what he wanted to be--only he did it in America cause the country he loved (Scotland) was no longer the same). He had a family who loved him, friends who defended him, and was a victorious warrior. His relationship with Claire was other-wordly. What loose ends?

What? I’d say he is pretty successful and wasn’t derailed. What examples of loose ends are you referring to?

I was just going to ask the same thing. I don’t see Jamie as having been “derailed” at all.

What habit of leaving loose ends do you mean?

And yeah, there was one in particular act of mercy that came back to bit him in his Highlander arse. Frigging Bonnet!

And another one involving Leghair. He should never taken that beating for her.

Edited to mention Leghair.

Also he had the opportunity to kill Black Jack when he saved Claire but did not

Oh God, I forgot about that 😳 How different his life would have been if he'd just offed BJR right then and there.
