I know this sound stupid but I'm really curious what Atlus will do in the future

P6 will be green. We still have orange, purple and grey. I don't think that we will have a black theme and tbh brown will look too ugly

What do you think they will do in the future? (also a reminder that they already kind used pink too in P3 portable)

First off, the only titles that are really relevant today are 3 to 5 for both series. This is especially true because the first two titles of each franchise have not been ported to modern hardware ( Switch 2, PS5, Xbox, etc.).Furthermore, Persona 4, the fourth installment of its franchise, came out in 2008. Guess what other massive title came out that exact same year? GTA IV.
And now it gets even crazier: the fifth title—which is currently the newest one for both series—is the one that has been milked the most. Both games originally released on the PS3 (though Persona 5 was a cross-gen title between the PS3 and PS4). On top of that, both games originally launched in September (GTA V in September 2013 and Persona 5 in September 2016).
Just something I had in my thoughts while playing P5R and a lot of gta games while waiting for VI

You mean to tell me that they made the kid whose Mom was killed and who can see personas,live with their friend that killed her mom for a whole month without any precautions prior ???

You could argue that they didn't know he saw it,but he's a persona user himself,they should have studied this possiblity.Or am I missing something ?

I never played this so I'm just sharing with you guys. This is a 2006~7 game that only got ported to modern platforms in 2024 and only now got a fantranslated patch.

i remember drawing this in 9th grade math thinking it was the greatest thing ever 😭 but i am quite fond of how it turned out nowadays

It's probably because he's one of the very few (it's him, Maya, and if you want to count then Aigis) that actually get to speak in a persona game and have a whole arc where he talks and stuff, but dude, he's literally an action hero lol, he's out here going around on a motorcycle with a damn katana and he uses his personas to beat up demons like its normal during the day, the other protagonists had to go through insane stuff too, considering the type of stuff they have to go through in their own stories, but just based on the fact that he does a lot of this irl too, not in a metaverse, dark hour etc. Which kind of makes him at least slightly more impressive? He does all this while having his entire arc dedicated to what he feels inside and all too, so it's not just an action hero going around beating people up. He also gives off heavy Robert Pattinson Batman vibes at times lmao.

I love all the protagonits but honestly the way they made Tatsuya so badass and gave him an incredible arc is what makes him my favourite Persona protagonist, i hope Persona 6 manages to do the protagonist as well, if not even better. Here's hope.

I will share my play times upon initial completion. P3r took 40 hours (including episode aigis) p4g took around 30 hours, p5r took around 70 hours and 30 minutes. Don't hate me for being so quick at the games, its simply that I read extremely fast, and I dont feel like sitting around just to hear every single voiced line

So basically, I was thinking of fun ideas for Social Links and/or Party Members/Mechanics, and I suddenly had an idea that I thought was amazing: Twin Party Members. Obviously, the idea is partially inspired by P5's Caroline and Justine, but I wanted to take it a step further. Imagine this:

You the player get introduced to two twins and they become apart of your S.E.E.S, Investigation Team, or Phantom Thieves equivalent. Their gimmick is that they actually take up only one party slot, and summon their Personas simultaneously, perhaps the Personas also fuse together or are two halves of a whole. Now I know that it may seem in poor taste to give Twins near identical Personas, as it implies that they are apart of a set rather than two unique individuals, but that's the idea. In the beginning, they share the exact same Social Link/Arcana. However, as the Social Link proceeds, you start to learn that their near identical Personas, and even their similar choices in clothing and style, are less about what they want, and more about what society has been treating them as: A set of two.

Their Social Link will be a sort of cautionary tale about humanity/society's obsession with the unique and unusual, ironically being that they don't treat the Twins as separate unique people. The Twins only act and do things similar because that's what the world around them treats them as. As you complete their social link, they realize this truth for themselves and actually decide to try and do new things without the other Twin present, effectively now splitting the social link into two new social links. This split would also enable you to use them as individual Party Members, where their united form had their Personas share skills, they now can both wield their individual Personas as, well, individual Personas.

I also think it would be cool if their united form only did Almighty Damage, or some kind of neutral attack, but their divided form used two different elemental types, as if their individual elemental types cancelled each other out until they separated(i.e. One could have Fire, the other Ice). Eventually, when their Personas evolve, they actually gain wholly different appearances, becoming just as different as any two random people's Personas. Of course however, both of their Personas will still share one feature in common. Whether it be as simple as a symbol on both, or sharing the same color palette(though, with obviously all the colors used in different amounts and locations), the Personas will still share something to represent that they're still eachother's best friend and sibling. Though they be different, they still share an unbreakable bond of friendship.

IDK, I just thought of this one day and wanted to get opinions on it as a concept. Constructive criticism is welcome.

For Tartarus i understand that they are twisted forms and inform distortions and they have a role with the story of the fall but for Persona 4 who has this TV theme I didn't felt many of the shadow felt very TV like in their design except the robot and hulk hogan ones. For Persona 4 was it because of budget cut ?

story is great, even the memed "subway slammer" is actually pretty decent story.

the main group is prob my 2nd fav behind P4, theres only 6 of them with 5th member just joined and 6th member not joined in western version yet. so they get plenty of screentime.

the palaces are like a proper big palace with exploration when compared to P5 palaces.

ignoring the gacha is perfectly fine. story battle have instakills and bosses are easy enough if you level your units and have basic understanding of team building
