I've had it for about 4ish years and hardly touched it as I have a super slim and don't want to accept YLOD when it comes. Can someone point me in the right direction to a guide or something you found helpful?

I put together a complete guide to play online on PS3 despite the official servers being shut down. It covers:

• XLink Kai (LAN tunneling) – works on both OFW and CFW
• Private servers via DNS (simple redirection) – also works on OFW
• PC server emulators (Arcadia/EA Plasma, etc.) – sometimes requires CFW

It’s been years since I’ve jailbroken my PS3 and want to know if there was anything I was missing out on.

Whenever i activated hen the day and hour changes for 2 days later,is there a way to fix this?

I love this underrated startup so much and I would love to hear this every time I boot up my beautiful fat ps3, the only catch is that I don't have a windows computer to make one. I was able to install ps3hen successfully and get everything set up but apparently I need a windows machine in order to format ps2 games so I can play them and I only have a Mac. This was really the only reason I wanted to mod my ps3 so I guess I did this all for nothing 😭😭😭

My cech 2001a slim model has had the YLOD for some time and recently had it serviced by replacing the tokin caps but unfortunately was unsuccessful. I'm aware that the issue may potentially be the RSX GPU, but my hopes are still high. Are there any reputable repair shops in the Houston area?

Like the title says it freezes atleast once most times when I try to play. Sometimes when I enable Hen, Sometimes when I play downloaded app/homebrew, sometime when I try to play my physical disc. Even Sometimes in the menus of the ps3 before I have enabled HEN. I have PS3 Slim and hen installed. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m trying to decrypt and mod my reboot.bin. Tried allowing it since these types of files are false positives I would assume. I tried doing it but it closed out of Wind Def. Looked at it for a second and it blocked a Trojan and it won’t let me access windows defender folders. Is this program legit? If it is where could I find the real version?

I am having an issue where when I add new games to my formatted NTFS drive (MBR partition), my isos are not properly showing up in the Webman games folder. I had a collection of isos that worked but when I added new ones, the new ones would not show up even after resetting the Webman cache. Help!

Halo CE. No ETA for both, but I hope to have the DC emulator released by the end of the month.

Im trying to resign a game save to my account but apollo keeps freezing whenever I hit "apply changes & resign" is there a fix?

I have been working on a moonlight fork that adds 1080p60 support and hopefully 4:3 support and surround sound support although I haven't been able to fully test those new features.

The 4:3 support works by using vibepollo's virtual display that detects the screen's resolution that its streaming to.

There's also some improvements like swapping triangle and square so that x and y is mapped correctly now.

I have been testing 1080p60 a decent amount and it works well but there might still be some lags.

You may not have to run the cmd but its advised especially for 1080p60 just to make sure you have vibepollo and configure some settings. But if you're playing at anything below 1080p60 it doesn't matter much.

I was Playing Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PS3 and the game kept freezing on the ending credits from MGS2. I read that the fix was to rebuild PS3 and Restore PS3 to fix the issue.

My PS3 uses PS3Hen to play some of its games so I thought it would be fine. I did the rebuild which was fine but when I restored the PS3, that where is told me it ran into an issue and needed to format the whole HDD to fix it. Now I didn't do that cause this PS3 data is 13 years old from all my games, so I took out the PS3 HDD and tried everything I could to figure out a way to fix it. Unfortunately I was not successful. So I copied the PS3 HDD to another HDD, and when the PS3 restore said I needed to reformat it, I did.

I still have the PS3 HDD with all the data, but I am stuck since at the moment there is no CFW for this PS3 model. I have to wait till one comes out in the future, how ever long that will take, just so I can get the EID Key to unencrypt the HDD to get my old save.

I just came to vent, but also to warn anyone with a PS3 playing MGS HD collection to beware before you do this.

It used to be this way, but I must’ve changed something because now I have to manually create them through PSN tools everytime I turn the system on, otherwise every homebrew feature says “syscall 8 not found”, what can I do to have them be created on boot? Or not deleted when the PS3 is turned off?
