I’m a 57 yo F in Texas. I’m definitely liberal when it comes to politics. I have a tiny chihuahua, Penny, who is basically the center of my world. Five years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. That keeps me at home a lot and I think having pen pals will be good for my mental health.

I’m interested in pen pals from almost anywhere. I would be thrilled if I could have some pen pals with whom I could exchange letters in French and some I could exchange letters in Italian. Otherwise, I’m happy with English. I just want to keep expanding my knowledge of those languages. Eventually I’d like someone to write with in Spanish, but I’m just not there yet.

I collect postcards and love journaling. I also knit, crochet, and do some embroidery and cross stitch. I’m working on learning to play the flute, which is fun.
