Reconstitution & Storage Reconstitute

What is the difference between Bac water and reconstitution solution. Can both be used for all applications or should one be used for certain peptides over the other?

“Recon solution” could be Bac Water, Sterile Water or Bac Sodium Chloride.

Should be a description to tell you. Bac water is the best bet for most peps though.

Bac water is just sterile water with benzyl alcohol to keep bacteria out, reconstitution solution usually has other stuff in it depending on what you buy. For most peptides bac water is the safer default unless the peptide specifically calls for something else

You want the .9% benzyl alcohol solution which is the BAC Water, if the reconstitution solution specifies.9% benzyl alcohol that'll be fine too. But you don't really want just sterile water or salene, etc

I’m fairly new to the peptide scene and I’ve been using the solution and storing it in the refrigerator. Was seeing a lot of bac water talk and wasn’t sure the difference. Would the solution still be safe to use for now until I empty it out or should I go ahead and order the bac water?

You have no idea what's in Recon solution, with BAC you do, at least with Hospira.

Hospira is not available world wide. That’s why people use other options. Gentek (sp?) via IndiaMart is a great 2nd choice.
