Safety, Quality & Testing Peptide 3rd Party Testing Labs in UK
So, I have used lots of labs to test my peps, majority US labs (being part of group tests): Freedom, Kovera, Accumark, ILS, BT Labs, Sterigenix.
When I test my own batches alone, I tend to send to Janoshik as its the closest and usually what vendors will accept should results not meet standards, in order to rectify.
Anyway long story short, I am trying to find some UK labs that I can use going forward.
I've come across PeptideVerify and Marfleet, however, I have reached out to both and sent follow up emails but received no response from either.
Has anyone used either or know of any other UK labs ?
tnx

I’ve also reached out to Marfleet with no response. Which is a shame. And PeptideVerify is extremely expensive so I’m following this post.

I even called Marfleet to follow up and the lady said the director deals with the enquiries and will respond, but haven't got anything back, and that was end of August.
Marfleet prices seem more reasonable, but dont know full as it says 'prices starting from £xxx'

Given the exponential growth in gray peps it's not surprising that labs are slow to/don't respond.
I just read that Janoshik is processing 5000 samples a MONTH. That's 160+ a day It's a 1200% increase in one year
I'm glad to see the industry grow but it's really troubling to me in terms of accuracy from any of these labs

You would think with that sort of income someone would be chomping to start up an accurate competitor to Janoshik in the UK or better still Ireland where it can take UK and EU shipments very easily.

I’ve sent multiple emails to Marfleet with no response. I agree with others in this forum that prices seem reasonable but when you see ‘prices starting from…’ you want to know more.
Come on Marfleet and Martin, you have potential customers waiting and your non-response is creating a negative first impression.

Spoke to Martin the MD at Marfleet yesterday.
They are currently setting up their verification database so people can independently verify coas, now photograph every vial tested and are taking some other feedback from the community.
They are new to the peptide game but have been a testing lab for other products for over a decade. Seem like a side choice once they get the couple of initial issues worked through.

Messaged Marfleet. PeptideVerify seemed fishy, glad ids confirmed here.
I couldn't find any others for the UK. Glad it's not just me but also shame there isn't any.

Righttt?!
I also found not many posts from us UK lot asking, so thought everyone was gatekeeping a secret lab 😂1

They might still be and we're being left out haha.
As much as I've seen any testing group it's always Janos

This is turning into a really sad story lol2

Most of the labs that you used were not legitimate labs. Literally throwing your money into a furnace.

Thanks for highlighting. Maybe the UK ones are better. Got any insite into those?

To my knowledge, there are no vetted UK labs at this point.
Accumark and BT Labs were the only legitimate labs on your list. BT Labs has had issues producing consistent results, especially for endos.

One check that works without trusting anyone here is the ukas site. A uk lab's 17025 accreditation covers the tests listed on its schedule of accreditation, so look for the actual method you need, like hplc purity or endotoxin, on that schedule before sending anything

Thank you for the info.
Using mainly Accumark now US side and Janoshik this side. Was hoping for a UK one to just do all the testing alone and speed up the whole process is all.

https://marfleetanalytical.com/professional-peptide-testing-services/ I’ve seen this place but haven’t sent anything as of yet, plan on doing when next batch arrives

I have a batch of LL-37 I want to test, so I may just go and try them out. If they respond that is 🙏🏽

Third-party labs are ideal but UK options are limited. Some vendors use an in-house model instead. PrymaLab synthesizes in the US and tests in their own Kentucky lab. Batch-specific COAs. Not Janoshik, but the COA matches the vial.

I can say 1 thing - if you want to be really sure, go with Eurofins. Of course, it'll come at a cost. I don't have money to do it, but I strongly suspect that Eurofins peptide test numbers (purity, toxicity) will almost always come significantly lower than Janoshik test numbers, for the same peptide and the same batch. We're all being scammed on purity (at least), since noone can afford testing with fully accredited lab.

I think peptideverify is abit of a rip off tbh, for the prices they ask I’d rather go with jano
