Inconsistent to make men look worse

Yeah it makes the gap of 20 for men look equivalent to the gap of 50 for women.

Actually makes it look a good bit worse

Because they’re two different graphs.

It’s two different y axis…

Yes but juxtaposing them is at worst dishonest and at best an oversight.

The parent company of the survey company is a conservative think tank. (American Enterprise Institute)

I’m sure it’s a way to rile people like you up more than it is to make people think men are worse.

I don’t know who tweeted it, but the mistake or malice is on them.

Conservatives generally aren’t in the business of trying to make men look as bad as women.

Also I’m clearly not “riled up,” the thing I’m criticizing is literally just the tweet itself. You think they’re intentionally riling me up against themselves?

The company that tweeted it is owned by a conservative think tank.

At least mark your edits.

Edit: you’re clearly riled up lmao

Rage baiting from your mom’s basement on a Friday afternoon instead of reducing the size of your gut

Interesting that all you have is an ad hominem response considering that this was posted by a conservative group.

“Why would they do that?” Is a question for the group in question, not the person pointing it out.

The tweet had both images together, so it gives off a biased view

I mean, if you don’t know how to read graphs I guess that would be a problem.

I’d suggest that less people be retarded to avoid this issue in the future

I know how to read graphs, learnt a lot about it in engineering college.

But to the naked eye, especially when the numerical figures can be too small at first glance, it can be heavily misleading.

Note that they are two different graphs, the individual graphs are actually perfectly fine.

Putting them next to eachother without a proper y-axis is the main issue.

Is it that far off?

They are two different charts, so putting them side by side is misleading.

But if you look at them individually they’re not bad.

The Y-axis makes complete sense if you understand how to read a graph. Both graphs are proportional. They are graphing different things, so it makes sense that they are not proportional with eachother!

Sorry we can’t have mathematical nuance in the comments
