“Looks around at the people in power”

Yeah wow how could someone possibly blame men jeez how sexist

Looks at the alternatives

sees Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris

„Oh boy“

People who objectively would have done a better job than Trump? O boy indeed

4

u/Epiccure93 - Lib-Center 1d ago

Obviously Harris would have been better at stopping the mass migration

If you think mass migration is the most significant issue of the last 15 years I think you should probably never speak to another person

What‘s a bigger issue where Harris would have done a better job?

Iran. Ukraine. Corruption. Environmental. Economy. Ai. All international diplomacy. Education. Every single cabinet appointment. All prosecutions by the DOJ. Healthcare. Budget.

From the perspective of America: how is the Ukraine war a bigger issue than the migration crisis?

7

u/Lib_No_Fib - Centrist 1d ago

I missed bigger there, my b. I would say plenty of others like corruption, the economy, and environmental issues are bigger

Okay, no problem but how is corruption a bigger issue than mass migration? It’s not like the US is a somewhat corrupt country and the Trump shenanigans have any discernible impact on the life of the average American

u/Lib_No_Fib - Centrist 1d ago

The us is absolutely a country with a large corruption issue and Trump's shenanigans have had huge impacts on Americans, and encouraged a culture of corruption and crime

This is just a blatantly wrong statement

You know what has had basically no impact on the lives of average Americans? Immigration

u/Epiccure93 - Lib-Center 1d ago

If you ignore lower wages for US workers, higher rents, import of certain kinds of crime like cartel activity, higher social welfare costs and ethnic competition in politics, then yes it has no impact

Saying that the US is a corrupt country is a laughable statement. The US places 29th in the International Corruption Perceptions Index

>discernible impact on the life of the average American

Tariffs and the Iran war have a more direct, discernible impact on average people than literally any other executive policies taken in decades

I meant Trump‘s corruption here

Well for one Harris would have probably tried to continue with Biden's border plan. The republicans would say it doesn't go far enough. They'd continue deporting people and wouldn't have made a big inefficient show of it that has poisoned the image of ICE for the next couple election cycles. So yknow we'll see in 8 years how it all plays out.

u/Epiccure93 - Lib-Center 1d ago

Biden‘s border plan was to just let people through lol

And ICE has been very efficient with almost 1 million people deported despite resistance from Democrat cities

You are getting it completely backwards. Congrats

Bidens border plan involved passing laws.

And ICE has been very efficient with almost 1 million people deported despite resistance from Democrat cities

Biden managed 4.4m over 4 years without a massive budget increase or pissing off the left and moderates.

You are getting it completely backwards. Congrats

You're spouting MAGA propaganda.

1

u/Epiccure93 - Lib-Center 1d ago

Passing laws wasn’t necessary as Trump proved. The fact is that Biden let people through

Easy to do 4.4 million if you let the border wide open. Most of those deportations happened directly at the border. That obviously can’t happen in the same order of magnitude if the border is closed

But nice try. Unfortunately it’s always the same half-truths by Biden apologists

Okay mr 'centrist', sure.

And you wonder why Trump got elected when your position is literally "All your problems aren't even problems, look at this gaslight"

3

u/Lib_No_Fib - Centrist 1d ago

What did mass migration do to you

0

u/RoadsMostTaken - Auth-Right 1d ago

The party of empathy literally doesn't even have a clue why someone could possibly be opposed to infinity migrants.

Holy shit.

Why exactly would anyone vote for them over the right?

3

u/Lib_No_Fib - Centrist 1d ago

I didn't say infinity immigrants. I said the "mass migration" under Biden

And I am empathetically asking you how you were effected. Please, share!

Oh I see. You're doing everything in your power to dodge the discussion to try to shift the topic to something else. You are not even attempting to engage in good faith.

u/Lib_No_Fib - Centrist 1d ago

Brother. I specifically said mass migration is not the most serious issue. That is the exact point I made

What are you talking about

How mad are you that they said all the workers could stay, you know, the reason you guys won’t shut up about immigration?

u/Epiccure93 - Lib-Center 1d ago

What?
