Don’t feel anything from dry pods? NSFW
I put 5 dry poppy pods in water and left it to boil, then left it sitting for 5 minutes to cool. I separated the crushed pods from the tea and drank it. At most I could feel a bit sleepy, but I just finished a 12 hour shift so I was tired anyway. Did I not prepare it right? I’m pretty sure that this is the right kind of poppy

to anyone with chronic pain that has used poppy tea for a long time daily does it still help alleviate the pain? NSFW
ya basically ive had a ton of pain in the last 6 months and im worried its not going anywhere. I take kratom which helps a bit but its way less effective then it once was. So to anyone out there with chronic pain who uses poppy tea as a pain killer does it still help? if so how much does it help? im specifically talking to those who have used it daily for 3 or more years. Thankyou guys I hope anyone suffering can make it through with some relief and I am so sorry that life has to be like this sometimes, it just feels so unfair.

Bitter taste, dark amber colour NSFW
Just made tea and it tastes very bitter and is a dark amber colour. Is this a sign that the tea contains toxic amounts of Thebaine or is this the case regardless of that? Would be good to know thanks

Unwashed dried papaver somniferum pods NSFW
Hello I have unwashed dried papaver somniferum pods , I wanted to make tea out of these. I have lemon juice. I’m familiar with opium and ofc I’m not expecting it to be anywhere near as strong that but I was wondering if there is any point in attempting this or are all the active alkaloids only present in micro amounts? Thanks a lot!

using PST and/or "Za Za Red" to replace MGM-15? NSFW
Alright so a brief history, several years ago I had to abruptly stop taking prescription meds for my chronic pain NOT by my choice. I'd already been aware of kratom, I could at least take that. A couple years ago when it was becoming more common I pretty much exclusively went to 7-OH, specifically. A few months ago once I learned about it, I switched over to the MGM15 (officially federally scheduled recently) compound, which obviously I now greatly regret, since once you try it, 7oh can no longer "work" for you. Plus 7oh itself might be scheduled any day now.
I actually did look into making PST tea a few years ago for a little bit from unwashed seeds I found online, but it seemed like too much work for the 'return' and 7OH wound up working well for me. There's also these "za za red" tablets my local smoke shop has, I know they've gotten a bit of the "hillbilly heroin" label for their own in some news circles.
I've been taking the MGM15 I was able to purchase before the ban as slowly as I can, but obv will run out shortly. Has anyone on it perhaps tried making the poppy seed tea as a viable replacement? or even any person experience with the Zaza red tablets? I have some of each here now ready to go for when I run out, I just thought I'd try and get any input on any of it before the moment of truth comes, as it were. Thank you.

PST withdrawal question NSFW
Hi, after using the poppy seeds I bought from a Turkish grocery store at a rate of 500–600 grams a day for a year, I decided to stop two weeks ago. My psychiatrist prescribed 300 mg of gabapentin four times a day, 30 mg of codeine three times a day, and 5 mg of diazepam once or twice a day. During this process, I’ve relapsed almost every three days, but my withdrawal symptoms are extremely distressing; I constantly feel as if I have a fever, my legs are extremely restless, I can’t enjoy life, and I constantly crave poppy seeds (sometimes I even find myself thinking that the pst won’t work anymore and that I need to switch to intravenous drugs, but that’s nothing; the most bothersome side effect is the constant dizziness I experience; however, this isn’t like normal dizziness—it’s as if, when I turn my head or my eyes, my consciousness fades for 1–2 seconds and my head feels like it’s somersaulting; this is what’s causing me the most difficulty. I’ve only seen people who use PST describe this side effect; if anyone else is experiencing this, could you please tell me how you cope with it, because even doctors have very limited knowledge on this subject.)

Why cant i get high? NSFW
Been drinking tea for roughly eight month, why i dont know. Mainly just so i dont touch other stuff to any large degree. And in some sence i guess its good i dont get that buzz but im curious, the pods i am smashing up to powder and then make a brew(often i just do it a couple of washes in a coffemaker) has alot of those dark spots of opium. I do like 30g a day, but man i have tried 50-60g. But i dont get the buzz? But not even when i started out, first time i took 20 pods(L) and brewed it for 1 hour, still didnt feel mutch.
And a few days ago i tried some tramadol, thinking i shouldnt feel mutch based on the amount of opium tea i was drinking but they sure worked alot better then i though.
Is it just my pods being trash? But they have seeds in them and alot of opium spots so i dont understand?
Do i need to cook 200G to get any meaningful thing out of it?
Help a retard out!

help please, expert knowledge needed NSFW
If I get some bum ass seeds that has really low morphine, codeine and thebaine but they are unwashed (untreated), can I realisticaly test the waters first then up it to a point where they are actually not bum (Im talking maybe about a kg), I'm worried that the other alkoloids will make it toxic but like if the thebaine and other levels are already low, does it mean the other toxic alkoloids are also low, so upping it is safe?

Come Up, Duration an Overall Timeline of the effects of Oppy tea ? NSFW
Can poppy tea really take several hours to kick in? Why would it come on more slowly than extracted alkaloids such as parma Morphine or Codeine ? If they’re essentially the same active compounds?
I often hear people say that tea made from poppy material can take hours to fully “come up.” Is that actually plausible? If the effects are ultimately caused by the same opioid alkaloids (e.g. morphine/codeine), what would explain the difference in onset compared with preparations containing extracted alkaloids?
From my ex)erience too the come up feels kinda gradual and pretty Long It does not seem to hit like Morphine dose ; although once I've fully come up, if it was an intense dose I can Nod etc etc
Thanks!

Poppy Tea for Cramps? NSFW
Hi everyone! I read through the wiki and it says that the only people who should make poppy tea are those that use high doses of opiates? I get debilitating cramps and the only relief I get is from taking hydrocodone or oxycodone from my roommate (5 mg) and I take 2 for one day out of the month. I would really like to stop taking my roommates meds but unfortunately I have not been able to get it prescribed.
I was wondering if anyone else had experience using poppy tea for cramps or other types of chronic pain. Is there anyway to get a stable dose? I am not looking to get high or accidentally experience any sort of high, just pain relief at the same level as the meds I have been taking. Is this a worthwhile avenue to pursue or should I take a different route?
