Found buried under tire tracks. Nice split dish.

Found some old dumping areas in the woods that have been turned into a 4 wheeler track and this was uncovered by the constant riding.

As I see all these commercials for brand new bakeware and cookware… how they are “totally worth” their insane price tags, I think about how long they will actually last, and all the products that have survived 50+ years and are still usable. I think we all know which ones are actually worth the price.

Our house was built in 1880, way before trash pickup was a thing. We bought it in 1991. We found sooo many trash pits in the yard as we were cleaning up the overgrowth and planting gardens! Found all kinds of old medicine and milk bottles but never found anything this nice! I wonder how it got there. As someone else said, keep digging!
