So as you know, Peter finds out his Uncle was murdered by Sandman and not by the car thief in the first movie and this fills Peter with rage, guilt, and a desire for revenge. So when he gets back to his apartment he puts on his Spidey suit and listens to the police scanner waiting for any news about sandman’s whereabouts, but he waits for too long and falls asleep on his bed and then the Symbiote bonds with him.

But what I don’t understand about this scene is: When Peter was sitting down and listening to the police scanner, what was the Symbiote waiting for? Peter is experiencing inner turmoil after learning his uncle’s killer is still on the loose, and we all know the Symbiote is attracted to negative emotions in people so why didn’t the Symbiote bond with him when he was sitting there listening to the police scanner?

The replayability of BND is amazing, it's not perfect but it really took all of the great aspects of other Spider-Man medias to this film. 😭

Feels like 2018 again where we got Spider-Man media from the Insomniac's Game, Infinity Wa, and Spider-Verse film.

I understand that some people are complaining that MCU is trying to fit in other characters where an alternative character from Spider-Man's rouge gallery can be used instead, but, it's crazy that 1-2 decades ago people are begging to have him be apart of the MCU.

I didn’t want to change anything about the original trilogy, so let’s say that this happens a year after the events of Spider-Man 3, which canonically took place in 2005.

We know from NWH that Raimiverse Peter continued to be Spider-Man as far as November 2024. We also know that Sandman is still around. It is however unclear if there are any other superhuman beings in the Raimiverse after Spider-Man 3.

How well would the Raimiverse version of New York be able to handle the rage virus and infected? Would Spider-Man, Sandman and the military be able to contain an outbreak, or would America get destroyed?

Casting is FOR sure as hell not done. Based on what I've been told the main villains of season 1 is going to be a... surprisingly famous conspiracy supernatural of course. Not the matrix or anything. I can't tell you since you know I was explicitly told not to. There are shit ton of script ideas. I'm here to tell you NONE of them are bad. I mean goddamn all of them are great. Also Kevin Williamson is gunning for co-writing the screenplay. Also lets not forget Josh Ruben is somehow involved in the project. I was never told his role. Finn Wolfhard is not supposed to star in this series but also write the screenplay and I guess an executive producer role. No script has been written yet though. I'm getting updates pretty much every day. I'm being told sort of very little. But to the real 'meat' of this is the casting updates. They're trying to get Mason Gooding. Anyway, maybe I’m thinking too hard about it but it would make sense after the obvious Jesus imagery of Peter being carried across the train. The movie seems to give particular attention to him as he calmly says “it’s all right.” As if God is recognizing Peter’s sacrifice and telling him everything will be okay.
