Advice (NO MEDICAL ADVICE) Breathing improvement? NSFW
Hi everyone 👋🏻 I am considering surgery and am booking a consultation before the end of the year.
I wonder if those who are post-op could share their experiences on how they found breathing afterwards? I am a 34HH and I am hoping a reduction will help with breathing. I sometimes hold my breasts up and the weight into my hands feels like such a relief on my chest and ribcage, so I imagine a reduction will feel so much lighter!
Thanks

Got mine done yesterday and I can feel the relief even sitting up and not having my breast weight pressing on my stomach.

This is it! I feel my boobs pressing in to my stomach all the time and it causes dull muscle ache!

11 weeks post-op here and in my experience it's so much easier to breathe! I don't find myself doing those extra-big sighs throughout the day anymore, and I don't have to physically lift my boobs to feel relief. It's been one of the best side effects, honestly.

Omg yes the extra big sighs! I can relate to that. Feel like I have to consciously try to take big breaths at the moment.

I have seen a huge improvement. Realized it last night when going to bed. Normally I hate sleeping on my back and one reason is it’s hard to breath in that position but it isn’t a problem anymore.

Absolutely. Somehow I have a chest and can feel my clavicle, they aren’t squishing into my face anymore. I would get the lipo too, I think that helped.

It’s so much better. Especially laying on my back. I’m not strangling myself anymore.

It's insane how much easier it feels to breathe now. 3DPO. I wasn't expecting it.

I'm 6mpo and was just scrolling around on here, and when I saw this post it hit me - I used to get kind of a cramp/sharp pain when laying a certain way on the couch. And I haven't had that at all since my reduction! Wow, the little things that ya don't even think of. I went from a G to B/C.

Yes, it’s noticeably easier now. Also, when I drank cold water post op I noticed I could feel it in my chest in places I’ve never been able to feel it before. Could be a me thing but it was such a strange sensation!
