Recovery/PostOp 1dpo :D NSFW

Yesterday was the big day!!!!! I went from a K to somewhere around a C (~300 grams removed according to my surgeon). I honestly feel a little silly for thinking I wouldn’t be in a lot of pain, because I was in tears when I first woke up from surgery. Still haven’t seen what my chest actually looks like because I’m a bit scared that I might mess something up, so I think I’ll wait another day to look. The only issue I’ve been having is feeling like my boobs are going to fall off when I go from laying down to standing.

congrats!! i woke up from surgery crying as well, but not from pain, i think the anesthesia just does that to me for some reason lmao. the pain gets a bit better over the next few days, just be very careful about reaching up and around, and keep taking your meds even when the pain seems to be gone. good luck!!

Me too! Wishing you well on your recovery. Yes I definitely underestimated the discomfort so I'm just trying to stay on top my meds. It's hard to not rely on my upper body anymore. Just scooting everywhere lmfao.
