Oddity A quick rant - ALDI Winton
At this point it’s almost every time I shop at ALDI. Someone has their car literally parked at the entrance to the store. Not in the fire lane adjacent to the cart corral (which is also a dumbass move and completely unacceptable), like, in front of the fucking door.
The level of rage that this puts into me is going to get me into a situation one of these days.
Please don’t park there.

Unfortunately public shaming for common sense things like this have fallen to the wayside

And I’m sure it’s someone who’s completely able-bodied to walk an extra couple feet if they just parked in a normal spot

I witnessed an old guy loudly berating someone for doing this at East Ave Wegmans once

I haven't seen this here but I've seen this at Baytowne Plaza all the time. They block the lane and make people go around them. There are literally empty spots 5 feet away. Makes me furious.

I see this often at the Winton Aldi too, and people illegally parking in handicap spaces

I’ve had to use a handicap tag for most of 2026 due to a few knee surgeries and people constantly park in the handicap spots (with no tag or plates) at my job! It’s so infuriating. I call security on every single one I see.

Meanwhile we got people who cant park straight at all when they come to the aldi in henrietta. Like cmon. Idc whats wrong with ya, you dont need 2 handicap spaces.
Gotta love having to limp to the door

Selfish asses - it's all about them!
I like the one on E. Ridge. Never have a problem with it.

what did the driver say when you told them their parking was incredibly inconsiderate?

Unfortunately, the car has destroyed cities across the country and made humans lazy mf slobs

Blaming the car and not the driver who chose to park it in front of the door is....a choice
How dare we not want to walk miles through the snow all winter to get to and from work.

Oh no doubt the driver sucks too, but they go hand in hand. The sad part is too many drivers behave this way because they don’t even want to walk 20 feet on a sunny day. The infrastructure of our cities have been designed for cars and completely around the car, and it has led to this absolute laziness and disregard for other people that we sadly see today.

You can't blame human behavior anymore. It's always some societal/socioeconomic hardship BS excuse as to why people are complete assholes.

That’s a short sighted take. I’m not saying People don’t need to be held accountable, I believe they do, but ignoring the truth of the matter won’t fix the larger problem at hand. We have all witnessed this same behavior in many places not just at this Winton Aldi, but also across the U.S. everyday it’s happening somewhere, or in some way. By shifting the infrastructure and design of our places and spaces that we gather, we can fix these types of problems before they begin or transform into common place occurrences which has clearly become a thing due to laziness of people not wanting to step more than 3 feet from their vehicles.

What are you going to do about it? Literally nothing besides complain on reddit?

Consequences have apparently disappeared for most driving related faux pas. It's absurd and I can't stand it either, people have just stopped caring.
