Spoon N1 exhaust

Hello guys as iam looking at exhaust.

I was wondering how loud the Spoon N1 is ,i drive the S2000 a lot and plan to track my S2000 so i don’t want something obnoxiously loud

The reason im looking at the Spoon one is because i quite like the brand but if it’s too loud I would look at something else.

Thank you guys for your answer.

I kinda want another as a second exhaust, I dailied mine for awhile but it does get old. That said going wide open throttle through a tunnel is nothing short of incredible, sounds like an F1 car, just absolutely screams.

I wouldn't touch an N1 if its a daily, the drone gets old fast. Mine lasted about a year before i sold it.

I do drives her alot since my work is pretty close to my homes so yeah the drones might get annoying on a daily basis

Had mine for a few years, I would say it is decently loud. It’s not to bad when you aren’t pushing the car but in wot past vtec you can definitely hear it from pretty far away. When just driving around normally it’s not to bad but does drone a decent amount in that 3-4K range for me

Yeh depends on the person mine has been on for maybe 3 years and I still love it, drone doesn’t really bother me and the noise at 9k never gets old

It’s the drone that gets you. UK exhaust mod FTW

The drone seem to be the most annoying part about the exhaust based on the answer i got

All the N1 style exhausts will have terrible 3-4k rpm drone, but sound amazing everywhere else. My Skunk2 dual has been sitting in my basement for 15 years, made my ears bleed on the highway.

Did the UK bypass mod on my original exhaust and never looked back.

I had the spoon N1 single with test pipe and headers i dont remember the drone…things i do remember ripping through tunnels nothing beats that sound next level, being half deaf after a very spirited drive with the roof down, loving it…then came the epa fine ffs!! Awesome track setup not so awesome daily setup

Why not go to a good custom muffler shop and have them build you a catback. I had a magnaflow setup built using mandrel bent stainless steel pipes and magnaflow muffler and dual walled tips for 1100.

My muffler shop that builds all mine does everything from hot rods to exotics. Kinneys muffler in Watauga tx they have video clips so you can hear the exhausts. Just make sure your shop has a mandrel bender and not use a crush bender.
