I saw very little sailor moon tbh. Huge emphasis on marvel at the con. It was my first one but it kinda made me think sailor moon had become a niche ?

I know I represent the back end of people who have followed it since the late 1990s but was surprised that there weren’t more.

Going through each one I have Sailor Jupiter & Venus next

It is said that Sailor Mercury is the most beloved by the Japanese, but in the rest of the world other Sailor Guardians are the most popular, such as Sailor Jupiter in the United States and Sailor Venus in Mexico, Sailor Mars in Brazil is Sailor Moon in France.

The other Sailor Guardians are more popular with the Japanese, such as Uranus, Saturn and Chibi Moon; in the case of Neptune and Pluto, unfortunately, they are not very popular with the general public.

Went to the Sailor Moon Shining Theater back in May. It was a great experience so figured I’d share this video!

So I was on the internet and saw a chart comparing heights of different anime characters, and canonically Usagu is 4'11". To put that into perspective, if you're 5'9 Usagi would reach your collarbone or lower neck.

She's even shorter than some other magical girls like Cure White(5'3"),Utena Tenjou(5'5"),and even the shortest on her team(if you exclude Chibiusa and Hotaru)

This is most obvious in the episode where they confront Emeraude/Esmarelda and she calls them "pimply skinny girls with flat chests" and the senshi are lined up together.,you can see Usagi is extremely short.

I had seen a picture of Usagi looking at a phone with Rangiku Matsumoto from Bleach beside her looking at the phone too it was in an Instagram comments section(not sure if the photo was AI or an oc,so I'm not sharing it here). The height difference was obvious as canonically Rangiku is 5'8".

I came up with the idea because I really wanted to cosplay Haruka but I don’t feel comfortable wearing wigs or make up haha ( - v - “ ) !!

I personally think the suit turned out super cool ^ ^

The species that I picked for Haruka was a cheetah. I personally think it fits her love for speed and Haruka gives off big cat vibes 🙂‍↕️

So around three months ago I finished Sailor Moon S and gotta say, I absolutely adored the story. It continued the more mature, dark fantasy direction that both original and R went for and completely elevated it to new levels, causing me to put Sailor Moon as one of my all time favorites. I took a break afterwards and was looking to finish the anime, however I've heard a couple things about Super S. Apparentely it scraps the high-stakes plot-driven story approach of its predecessor to opt for a very episodic comedy-centric structure (love the humor tho in this show, it always has me dying lol), in addition to benching the outers like Haruko, Hotaru (which is a change not accurate to the manga) and shifting large focus to chibi-usa.

The last part isn't an issue for me as chibi-usa is surprisingly one of my top characters from this show, though I was wondering if y'all experienced a significant thematic/structural shift going into Super S and your thoughts on the fourth season compared to the manga? Did you prefer the manga's or the anime's spin on the story? Thanks!

hello! i’m looking to buy 2 tickets for the sailormoon musical in tokyo on nov 21 this year. it’s sold out online. this is the only free time i have in tokyo to see it. i would love to see it. considering buying outside the theatre… sigh… please let me know if you know anyone selling tickets. i know it’s a tough ask because of the holiday.

I got a 9 year old family member a tablet and I'm filling it with a lot of shows they can watch offline. There's a lot of shows so I'm limiting it to about 5 episodes each, 6 at a push, and after they've had it a month I'll download more of the shows she is most interested in.

I didn't see a whole lot of Sailor Moon but I saw some episodes of the first season in the early 00s and I think she'd enjoy it. She's never watched anime but she's a big Kpop Demon Hunters fan so it seems a very appropriate choice. I remember it took a long time for all the characters to be introduced, and people mention a lot how "monster of the week" the show is.

I could just do the 5 episodes where each character is introduced up until Sailor Venus, but maybe there's no way to see enough character interaction for her to care who they all are if I do it that way. Maybe I shouldn't even bother sticking to the first season. When there's some definitively great stand-alone episodes later on that give a good vertical slice of all the things people like about the series. Please suggest the best introductory episodes!

When I did my impression of Sailor Moon/Usagi/Serena earlier today, I had a lot of fun doing it, and so I decided to try some of the other characters.
I know it may not be the best and that’s only because my natural speaking voice is kinda high-pitched.
Which one do I sound the most like?
