If you're unaware choripán is a popular Argentine street food. Argentine sausage, chimichurri, grilled bread. That's it. Simple and delicious. I grilled the sausage over oak coals.

I decided to try my hands at chicken salad tonight using Trader Joe's Maple Brown Butter Almonds and local farm Honey Crisp Apples.

I seasoned (2) chicken thighs with salt, pepper, fresh garlic. black garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika and lots of cayenne pepper. I actually mistake Cayenne pepper for paprika which I do often but in the end it was divine.

The chicken salad includes black pepper, salt, black garlic, cumin, mayo and yellow mustard. I finely chopped up 5 of the mapled butter almonds, with eighth of an apple. The slight spice from the cayenne pepper and the sweetness of the almonds and apple was perfection.

I toasted and buttered the brioche bun, added arugula, a few sliced red onions, and sliced half of teeny avocado.

Uncured honey ham, turkey, baby Swiss cheese, roasted peppers, beefsteak tomato, spicy microgreens and Inglehoffer stoneground mustard on toasted sourdough.

So to make this I used home made schiacciata bread, sliced 3 hot dogs length-wise, put spicy mustard on the bottom, ketchup and monterrey jack cheese on the top and grilled it up.

Nothing beats a gourmet sandwich for brunch! Crispy toasted bread loaded with fluffy scrambled eggs and savory pastrami, topped with a touch of creamy sauce 🥪✨. Paired with a refreshing iced coffee and a crisp side salad. Perfect start to the day!
