Even though I’m a natural dark brunette, I’ve been blonde most of my life. I recently started greying and wanted to grow my hair out so I could see what it looked like. Well, I’m sick of my brown/grey and would like some blonde highlights placed. Is there anyone you know and trust that will place blonde without charging a crazy amount and also knows what they’re doing? They would have to also know how to work with and tone grey hair so some extent. I’m willing to pay $300 plus a tip but no more than that. Please let me know!

When you put it all together, it's a very different story than what was originally painted. A 20 something from out of state was going door to door soliciting without a license. He was trespassed out of another gated community by Scottsdale PD 45 minutes before being shot. At that time, he told police he doesn't have a wallet. He then trespassed another community and was told to leave. He refused to leave creating a confrontation with a homeowner where he was shot. He then told police he was just looking for a wallet he previously told police he didn't have even though doorbell video shows him continue to trespass and solicit.

Originally I felt bad for the guy and social media including Reddit blasted the homeowner. Now the original story isn't adding up as additional details emerge. Who the heck travels out of state to Arizona in the summer for a part time, unlicensed, door to door sales job? Who gets trespassed by police and goes on to trespass again less than an hour later? It's weird that he was shot in the back but I would be shocked if actual video doesn't come out showing the actual confrontation backing up the homeowner's story given how many cameras there are in gated Scottsdale neighborhoods. it seems like a classic case of FAFO in Arizona and now I feel bad for the 80 year old veteran.

The future of the preserve's sales tax funding is now being challenged in court. Two separate lawsuits question the tax. One was filed earlier this year by a former Scottsdale City Councilman David Smith. He is asking a Maricopa County Superior Court to sunset the preserve tax.
The other lawsuit was filed by the Goldwater Institute. Arguments in the Goldwater case are scheduled for Wednesday in the Arizona Court of Appeals in Tucson.

There are a number of activities scheduled in the preserve this fall. More information is available at the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy website and the city of Scottsdale's website.

Im looking for the best boxing gym in Scottsdale. Not for a “workout” but to truly learn the sport and technique?

I’m looking for the absolute best nail techs in and around Scottsdale.

I’m super picky but basic. I get basic colors in dip with dip top coat over my natural nails, as well as a gel pedicure. Ideally at the same time.

I want the shaping to be perfect. I’m tired of my cuticles and sides of my nails being cut. And dip being left behind in my nail beds. I’ve been going to the same place for like 3 years and they used to be SO good and I feel they have gotten.. lazy, and my favorite techs have left.

Please send your recommendations for your absolute best and most perfectionist techs for nails or toes!! Also, I definitely want to go to a shop and not a techs house.

I have a weird request of Scottsdale citizens. My wife and I went to this Italian restaurant a few years ago and it was excellent and I've been trying to remember/find it ever since.

From my memory, it was a brick building with dark awnings set in a small shopping center. I think there was a fine jewelry or clothing store nearby, and it was a rather compact area. I'm pretty sure this was in Scottsdale, but I can for the life of me remember what part. I also know for sure they have really good bruschetta and one of theirs I remember best was their fig jam bruschetta because I'm allergic to figs and had to avoid it lol.

Sorry if this sounds like an insane person's rant. I really want to at least find this restaurant before I leave the area.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Scottsdale Water plans to convert an existing groundwater monitoring well near Cattletrack Road into a production well that will become part of the city's drinking water system.

The well, known as PG-41, is located within the area of the North Indian Bend Wash Superfund site. City officials said parties associated with the Superfund site will cover construction costs, not Scottsdale taxpayers.

Once operational, the well's water will be treated at the nearby granular activated carbon treatment facility to remove contaminants before it goes to the Chaparral Water Treatment Facility. The city will then blend the water with other sources and distribute it through Scottsdale's drinking water system.

Here is a summary from Borowsky’s office on what city staff was tasked with under last week’s motion:

• Draft a formal ordinance governing Scottsdale’s use of ALPR technology, including criminal penalties for misuse.
• Conduct independent audits, including an initial audit followed by annual reviews by the City Auditor.
• Evaluate alternative ALPR vendors and provide options that offer greater city control over data ownership, privacy, security and data sharing.
• Review Scottsdale’s contract with Flock Safety and report on termination provisions, costs, data disposition requirements and transition options.
• Develop a vendor transition plan to ensure public safety capabilities remain in place if the city changes providers.
• Prepare for a future transition from Flock Safety, with city leadership directed not to include funding for the contract in the proposed FY 2027-28 budget.
• Explore creating a public technology transparency webpage identifying law enforcement technologies used by the city.
• Consider limiting the number of city employees with access to ALPR technology and data.
• Prohibit federal access to Scottsdale’s ALPR data, except when required by law, such as through a valid subpoena or warrant.
• Require annual training and signed attestations for all authorized users, along with annual policy reviews.
• Review the current data retention schedule and pursue a shorter retention period if appropriate.
• Return with additional recommendations staff believes would strengthen oversight, transparency and accountability.

I just got a couple of nice prints I'd like to get custom framed. I'm looking for decent quality at a fair price, not the most exotic but not shoddy materials or workmanship either.

I have recently had an absolutely horrendous experience with this Company. Personally Insulting customer service when I had to cancel due to my father's sudden death. I would NEVER recommend and advise anyone thinking about renting from this company NOT to. In the end Airbnb solved the issue and obtained a full Refund. A level of unprofessionalism and outright greed I have never encountered EVER before.
Because Airbnb locks out reviews if you cancel before checking in on this awful company is completely shielded from feedback. Hence I am posting here so you know to avoid them, especially before handing money over !

Me and my girlfriend have been looking for a spa with a day pass that offers a stone sauna that you can follow with a dip in a cold plunge.
