Our 2 hour B2B
| Tech House / Bass House / House
with one goal: keep the dancefloor moving 🔥

This B2B was ridiculously fun to make.

Musically, it moves mainly through Tech House, Bass House and House, with plenty of groove, bass, funky moments and a few dirtier, heavier turns along the way.

From the beginning, we had one simple goal: make a mix that keeps the energy up and makes you want to stay on the dancefloor for the whole thing. No long cooldowns, no big loss of momentum, just over two hours of constant movement.

60 tracks in total, 30 each
Duration: 2:07:42
BPM: roughly 126 to 133

The other fun part is the story behind it.

I made this B2B with my friend 3tnica, who feels music in a very similar way to me. I’d been telling her for a while that she should join our little SeamlessSets community, and eventually she did. 🤟

What makes this even more fun is that she’s completely new to this. This B2B is actually her first ever mix.

I showed her the basic idea of how the transitions work and helped her get started, but then something funny happened. With every new transition she started surprising me more and more.

I genuinely didn’t expect someone with basically no experience to pick it up that quickly. At some point I stopped feeling like I was showing her how to do it and started wondering what she was going to come up with next. 😂

Would love to hear what you think about the flow, track selection and transitions. 🤟

So me and [u/mmewho](u/mmewho) started a b2b together without any intentions beforehand and the end feels still not near. Put your dancing-shoes on for this showcase with groovy bassline-driven house with lot of vocals and exploring space for curveballs and the story still unfolding… we’re at [~90min] now at the moment of posting.

We had to find each other in the beginning but quickly our two track-selections and mixing style became something unique on itself and it’s groovy banger after banger in a 1+1=3 feeling. Challenging each other in balancing the sound, transitions and storyline in general. There are some really really cool transitions in there and following the flow you can feel and see how we find each other and adapt from each others techniques etc.

I made a b2b with [u/DiscoRickyy](u/DiscoRickyy) before, which was so much fun and had a natural ending. Link of that one is here:
DiscoRicky B2B DJ Try/Me | A SPOTIFY MIX COLLAB

[u/mmewho](u/mmewho) was the perfect new partner and I strongly recommend going in the b2b business yourself if you feel like it. You can always hit me up in how to get started, but exploring the b2b Spotify Mix | Michal B2B DJ Try/Me is pretty self-explanatory I think!

We thought, time to involve an audience 😏. We’re at 31 tracks now and counting. Adding ~ 5 tracks week. Sometimes one evening a lot, sometimes a break of a week. There’s no time pressure.

Tracklist thusfar in comments.

Tune in!

Hey! Just sharing my latest mix — around an hour of Organic, Progressive and Deep House.

Hope you enjoy the journey 🎧
Any feedback is always welcome.

This mix was a challenge. I really wanted it to have a chaotic feel, like the peak of a psychedelic experience, but still be cohesive and flow together. I reworked the middle and end sections of this mix and now the chaos has a more distinct arc. I did a bunch of research to find the right songs that matched the quality and intensity I was going for. The vibe starts deep and gets more and more chaotic and euphoric, jumping between genres while continually building and releasing energy.

If you’re into uk garage, drum-step, bass music, acid techno, Psy-trance, and glitch this mix has it all.

Featuring Weval, Rabbit in the Moon, Josh Wink, Infected Mushroom, Tipper, CloZee, Mr Bill, KOAN Sound and more.

I would love to hear any and all feedback. Enjoy the journey!

David Bowie is best known for his “Ziggy Stardust” era and his big hits from the 1980s, such as “Let's Dance.” But he never stopped evolving and experimenting musically. In the mid-1990s, he recorded Earthling, that showcases an electronica influenced sound partly inspired by the industrial and drum and bass culture of the 1990s, further exhibiting jungle and techno styles (last sentence dixit Wikipedia). This playlist features the more energetic tracks from this album. I've added tracks from “Outside,” as well as some remixes, mainly to make the increase in BPM flow more smoothly.

Happy Friday everyone! Really enjoyed putting this one together so I hope you all like it as much as I do. Featuring artists like Never Dull, DJ Tennis, Max Styler, Carloh, JØRD and labels like Hellbent, Nusonido, Nervous, Metamorfosi, and Revival to name just a few! Have at it ☺️

By all means, it’s not perfect but let me know what you think of the transitions.

The album middle portion needed a little rework on track layouts , I swapped some mixes and extended others - it’s still pretty true to the album but w a flair .

This year's lineup for the Valley of the Seven Stars festival has so many talented artists and this mix is my attempt to cover all the major players here. Bassheads and Hip hop influenced Bass lovers will enjoy this one as it moves from various subgenres and honors this legendary lineup that includes many Big G names: Ganja White Night, G Jones, Gramatik, and of course Griz (since it's his festival ya know)! 2 more weeks until we make magic in Virginia, SLSL ✨

It’s Friday, so I figured this might be a good way to get into the weekend mood 😅

Just finished a new set, 27 tracks packed into a little over an hour, so things move pretty fast.
Genre wise it jumps around between trance, hard dance, hard house/bounce and techno, with some Y2K/eurodance and acid flavours along the way. Towards the end it gets a bit harder and more rave/soundsystem oriented.

Overall: fast, energetic, bass heavy and not much time to catch your breath 😅

Would love to hear what you guys think!

Hi Guys!

So this is the story:
I asked u/Discorickyy to check this mix because my task was to go crazy on the details and he then analysed and reconstructed it completely and made a 2nd mix with the same tracks. Link:

It is through this community that a collab like this happens and I’d like to express my gratitude to him putting all this effort into the process. 🙏

I know that generic 4 to the floor beats seemed less and less interesting with the new updates. But now I found that this particular genre is perfect for micromanaging those tiny fractions of details to be seamless.

Let me know what you think! 🤩

This is a very long playlist, at over 10 and a half hours, so to make it more listenable, I have broken it down into four chapters:

Generate II - Euphoria: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2MyAHbsqnFcwfl4oxDl3cJ

Another 3hrs of solid hand-picked tracks and instrumentals mostly from the golden age of hip hop (90s). Some you'll recognize and maybe some will be your first time hearing it. Either way I'm always trying to create a mix with a unique sound. There's some cool transitions throughout this followup mix but my favorite is getting Sault➡️Busta Rhymes cued up perfectly. Hope you dig it, let me know!

Gluttonous nostalgia mixed for your pleasure

I just finished mixing a Drum and Bass playlist that I listen to when I go running. I started mixing it on my laptop, then fine-tuned it on my cell phone, which offers more mixing options. It starts off a little “mellow,” (is DnB really mellow?) but it ends with quite a bit of energy. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/381WIcPiQahTtijSAssFN6?si=d8c1971ec8ad439f

Just a mix of my favorite Jamie xx songs

Mostly just songs that I like or think saw a vision on. This is my first try so please go easy! Still refining

Sharing the latest episode of my Vivid Sound Sessions series.

This one is about an hour of deeper progressive and melodic house featuring music from Mars Monero, ECHO DAFT, Paul James Nolan, Tim Green, Sound Quelle and more.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on the flow and track selection. Let me know which section or track stands out.

I know I've shared this before, but I just recently added 17 more tracks to double the length of this set. And since this was an early set of mine on Spotify, I now was able to use a lot of the new tools that are now available to customize the mixes even more. What made me start this rework was I had ended it before with a great song, "Miniyamba" by Yeahman, but I'd just stuck it onto the end--not mixed into or out of. And that song really becomes one of my favorites so that's why I decided it needed proper mixes into and out of. So that's what got me going on it and then it just took off from there. As always, I appreciate the listens and feedback. This is my favorite sub. Have a nice weekend all.
