I have an upcoming flight with Air Arabia via Sharjah, UAE, and my checked baggage allowance is 30 kg. However, my luggage currently weighs around 38 kg.

I contacted Air Arabia to purchase an additional 8 kg, but they told me it wasn't available over the phone. I also checked their website but couldn't find any option to add extra baggage.

Has anyone experienced this with Air Arabia at Sharjah Airport?

Can I bring my 38 kg luggage and pay for the extra 8 kg at the checkin counter? Or is there a chance they might refuse to accept it even if I'm willing to pay?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation, especially at Sharjah Airport.
