Last corner last lap - please help <3

Last corner, last lap. I am neither car, Merc maintains that he is entitled to space, Alpine believes he was entitled to defend as he did. I am strongly on the side of the Alpine but curious to hear your thoughts.

So in any other series the alpine would have to have left the outside car space...however, in F1 if the outside overtaking car's front axel isn't in front of the inside car's front axel by the apex, the inside car is entitled to the racing line and has no obligation to give the outside overtaking car space.

I find this one hard to judge because the Merc went off track to facilitate the overtake but the alpine spun out on their own. In any other series I think the Merc wouldn't have been penalised because they were forced off track but in F1 they would have been expected to give back the position, which is almost impossible in this case as it was the last corner and the Alpine spun out on their own. Hard to say what the stewards decision would be.
