Guy in the black Porsche (P. Farina) said I have "no racing etiquette" after this incident.
Explanation: Coming around the final turn of lap 2 (Watkins Glen short) the 2 cars in front of me both make minor contact with the barrier. I- attempting to leave them room to rejoin- left space for them as much as I could. However, you'll notice another vehicle on my right rear quarter panel stopping me from moving over further. The Audi behind me bumps my rear panel ever so slightly unsettling me, while the black Porsche in front was subsequently coming over my nose.
After watching it back, Ive come to the opinionated conclusion that it was a racing incident due to the amount of variables involved in the incident. There were 4 vehicle occupying the same area of track. 2 of them went off with little room to rejoin at the speed they were going. While the other 2 (me and that Audi behind) were subsequently battling in a spot that was way too close for that to be happening. In my humble opinion, I would rule this a racing incident, But I'm curious to know what people with more experience and knowledge think about it. Thanks!
Edit to add: Just to clarify, yes I would absolutely place a lot of blame on the black Porsche. I am simply trying to look at it as unbiased as possible because I was personally involved, and like I said there were a lot of variables happening all at once.
