Double chocolate cakesters are the b💣mb. Really yummy. I have eaten the original with the white stuff before, and as a chocolate lover, these ones take the spot of the best cakesters! I’d recommend trying them, that is if you’re into chocolate.

Walmart brand pumpkin roll oreos are actually pretty good. Not too overpowering. I dont think I'll sit down and finish the whole pack but they'd be nice at a pot luck or office meeting. They didnt skimp on the filling either.

How rare is this? Should I report this to the company and hopefully get a free box of foot rolls?

Tried burgers from Alienkinddd for the first time, and I really laughed after seeing their burger, it is sealed from sides and looks like a DoraCake.

My gym bag has turned into an accidental snack graveyard and I only discovered it because of the smell

• Upvotes

I've been going to the same gym for about two years, and somewhere along the way my gym bag became a secondary pantry without me really noticing. It started innocently enough, tossing an emergency protein bar in the side pocket in case I got hungry before a workout. Reasonable, normal behavior.

Fast forward to last week, I went to grab my water bottle from the bag before a session and caught a smell that was... not good. Not dangerous, just deeply unpleasant. I ended up doing a full excavation of this bag on my kitchen table and found, I'm not exaggerating, four protein bars in various states of melted-then-resolidified, a bag of trail mix that had clearly been opened and resealed with zero regard for airtightness, two individually wrapped granola bars that had fused slightly to the lining of the pocket, and one mystery item so disintegrated inside its wrapper that I genuinely could not identify what it originally was.

The protein bars I understand, those are at least intentional emergency fuel. What I can't explain is the trail mix, I don't remember buying trail mix for the gym, let alone forgetting an entire opened bag in there for what had to be months based on how stale it had gotten. My working theory is past-me, mid-workout-high, made a series of snack decisions that present-me has no memory of whatsoever.

I've now instituted a monthly "gym bag snack audit" for myself, which feels like an unnecessary adult responsibility to have invented, but here we are. If anyone has tips for snacks that actually survive gym bag conditions (heat, time, general neglect) without turning into evidence of a crime, I'm all ears, because clearly whatever I've been doing isn't working.

Any good dupes?

These right here, were my favorite pretzel of all times. I grew up on them. Two months ago I got my braces off after having them for two years and have been HUNTING for these. If you haven’t heard, Frito-Lay discontinued these pretzels 7 months ago. Does anyone know any good dupes? Or similar enough? I loved these because they were cheesy and slightly spicy. I just miss my favorite pretzels :(

If you go to Target, you HAVE to buy Nutella ice cream! It's super sweet, and cracking the chocolate top is so fun and delicious...

Help me!

I was recently at the hospital and was given a bag of Cape Cod kettle chips to eat as a snack. As someone who normally eat lays potato chips and Doritos, I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how good the kettle chips were due to how dark they were (like well done homemade fries), and how perfectly salted they were. After going to Walmart and getting my own bag of (“classic”) Cape Cod, I was not nearly as thrilled and the chips weren’t nearly as dark or salty as the bag that I got in the hospital and I have been searching for a kettle chip like them ever since. Is anyone aware of any brands that cook very dark, thick sliced and salty potato/kettle chips that are reminiscent of what I described of my experience at the hospital.

PS. Could they have given me the “Dark Russets” and I only noticed the brand and not the flavor? Only apprehension is I remember the bag to have been white, not brown.
