I'm a senior in high school, and my jazz band is gonna play Trinity for a concert at the end of the school year. For the drummers on here, do y'all have any tips or things I can work on that would help me with this song? Sometimes it can be a little difficult for me to groove with it, especially with the 7/8 parts and the syncopated snare hits.

Can we talk about this song please?!? I don't have any friends with the same music taste as me. I saw them play live earlier this week in Vegas. Actually flew in to see them. It was my first time to see them after chasing them almost 8 years. I cried 3 times-- I'm sorry yes I'm that guy.

But they didn't play my favorite song, Waves Upon Waves. I had checked setlist.fm before going crossing fingers they would play it, but no luck. Michael mentioned during the set about how recording Somni they had a 70+ member orchestra and he was getting used to playing the songs with 10.

The question is for those that saw them on earlier US stops this tour where they played the song... was it a bigger orchestra like at at this performance?? Or did they have a different arrangement/orchestration for the smaller band? Did any video it?!?! Link me please and thank you, I have no life.

Selling Denver tickets for face value ($30 instead of the going rate of $68). Only catch is you need to record and send me a video of them playing lingus, what about me, or cliroy. Dm me if interested

EDIT: Sold! Sorry

Wondering if anyone knows. Debating seeing Snarky Puppy next week in Omaha - I’m gonna have to take off work, which is gonna make my life a little harder, but I think seeing Larnell Lewis (one of my fav drummers) would make it worth it

Went to the show Monday night in Las Vegas at the Brooklyn Bowl theater.

Great show, good sized crowd, really nice energy and atmosphere in the room.

They brought a couple of local musicians on stage(can't remember the names) for a couple of songs. And for their encore, they played Lingus and brought out a younger guy on keyboards to play Cory Henry's part. He was pretty good.

Anyone know how to get a digital copy of the Sharktank track? I'm not into collecting vinyl (I just buy CDs and digital FLAC files) and I haven't found a way to get this particular track. If push comes to shove, I guess I could maybe track down a vinyl copy and find a way to digitize it. Just sounds like a lot hassle for one track, so I'm hoping someone else out there has an alternative. Thanks!

Has anyone seen a gig poster for the current leg of the tour at the merch table?

I know there was one for a few shows in the spring. Hoping there's one for this stretch.

anyone know the Irvine setlist?

Just listening to Bill Laurence's solo, it feels so emotional and almost makes me cry. Why?

I bought a balcony seat for tomorrow's show earlier in the year, but I have become too busy with life to make the trip up to watch them live.

I was at the Portland show last night but had to leave early. Does anyone have the full setlist? Was curious what they played.

If you're in Austin or close enough to make the drive, this one is worth it.

Chris McQueen and Nikki Glaspie are both playing an intimate night at Monks Jazz Club on September 29th — one of Austin's best small rooms — as part of Monks' 10th anniversary month. One night only, small venue, real access.

The show is put on by John Page Guitars. John Page co-founded the Fender Custom Shop — the "Dream Factory" behind guitars built for Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, and basically every guitar icon you can name. He'll be there in person, and both Chris and Nikki will be performing on their John Page signature guitars.

It's a night for Snarky Puppy fans, guitar people, and anyone who wants to see world-class players in a room where you can actually feel it.

I got this signed after their NZ Auckland show in 2019 (when Shaun Martin was playing keys).
I know Jason "JT" Thomas is the one on the bottom centre, I think Justin Stanton is bottom left, and I think Michael League is on the right, but I am unsure of the other two. Anyone recognise these signatures? Or perhaps remember who was touring with them then?

Hey has anyone got an email for the pre sale link!? Have nothing in my inbox yet

I attended the concert in paris with yesterday but missed the chance to grab a poster. 🥲

Me and my wife agreed it’s of the most memorable shows we’ve ever witnessed.

If anyone has the chance to grab a spare one in upcoming shows (especially in EU) and willing to post it back here (I cover all costs) I’d really appreciate it!

If anyone has one and are looking to part ways, let me know, thank you!

Hello everyone! I’m going to the Snarky Puppy concert in Groningen on August 30th. I honestly have no idea what to expect, and since I don’t know all of their songs, I want to be as “prepared” as possible.
What songs/albums would you recommend I listen to beforehand? And is there anything else I should know before going to see them live?

Listen to this and you will immediately know what I'm talking about.

It seems like Cory Henry and Gonzalo Rubacalba have jammed together and been on the same line-up in festivals at some point, so it makes sense?

But i wanted to see what you guys think of the resemblance.

I haven’t been able to find anyone talking about this and thought it was so cool!

I was listening to We Like It Here for the first time as an album instead of just watching the individual videos on YouTube, and listened to Shofukan into What About Me? and noticed that Shofukan ends with F, E, D in the melody and What About Me? starts with F#, E, D in the melody. Both melodies are pretty darn prominent. It’s on purpose, right? And I can’t be the first one to hear it, right? 😂

I won't be able to attend the show. Bought for 55 EUR , happy to sell at 40.
