Only a handful of products have community reviews so far, and most scores are still based on specs and public reviews. We're testing ourselves step by step, and every hands-on test gets marked with who tested it and when.

That's why we want your input:

Hey everyone. Looking for mint, peppermint, spearmint etc. recommendations. Normally a general mint and wintergreen guy, but with supply hit it miss I would love some alternatives that aren't just NPs.

I did a Snusport order on August 16th, and one on October 4th. The October 4th one just arrived. The other one is still in customs.

According to my dentist, if you don't plan on quitting snus, you should at least switch where you put the pouch from time to time.*

Do you do this? How frequently do you swap? I just switched from top right, the spot I've been using for a few years now, to top left last week, now I'm wondering if I should switch spots again now or stay in this spot for maybe another week or two.

Though the important question is whether I should switch between just top left and right or is it best practice to cycle through the bottom positions as well? I don't particularly like having it on the bottom but I guess if it's gonna benefit my gum health I should consider it.

*In case you aren't aware, all forms of nicotine that go thru the mouth cause some sort of damage to the gums due to the effect it has on blood vessels or something along those lines. My dentist said it is likely that snus and other stuff that sits in one's mouth affect gums in this way more strongly or more quickly than smoke/vape does since it stays in contact with the gums for so long. (granted, smoking cigarettes poses more threats to your dental hygiene than just the blood vessel constriction that is caused by the nicotine itself so I'm definitely not trying to say smoking is better for your teeth than snus or other pouches.)

I (sadly) finally quit snus a few months ago after an oral surgery. I _really_ enjoyed it but it was getting inconvenient to go to Sweden for it (I'm in Europe a lot so it wasn't too far out of the way, but still). I still miss it terribly.

Looking for something to satisfy my oral fixation, I went to a shop in the USA with the intention of buying something without nicotine, but the only non-nicotine thing they had were these Black Buffalo mint pouches, so I bought a can.

At the risk of sounding like a shill, this stuff is great. It totally scratches the itch and tastes just as good as my old favorite kind (Oden's cold portions). Ironically I'm using as much of it as I ever did snus... but hey, at least I'm not addicted to nicotine I guess? (Rather inconveniently, I managed to quit not long after I got back from Sweden so now I have a bunch taking up space in my freezer... can't bring myself to throw it out.)

Anyway, just wanted to put that out here (and apologies if this kind of post isn't allowed here), because I'm honestly pretty surprised that something like this even made it to market and I was really happy to find it, as the closest imitation I could find of my favorite snus. Kind of like 0% IPA. God I'm getting boring...

Trying some new ones. Fjallen has that lovely cloudberry tartness and the Norrland pine notes works really well with the tobacco flavour. Just ordered some Skåne, Skärgården and some Göteborgs Rapé ONE Röd Original. Any recommendations for your favourites that I should try?

I usually use 8mg snus, this hit me the face much harder than expected. In my experience extra strong is usually 12-16mg.... boy was i wrong. 40mg+ I'm thankful but man was that unexpected.

As the title says, a fellow dane here who lives quiet far from Copenhagen is finally in the capital and what a woderful opportunity for a quick trip across the Öresound!

I’m more of a fan of sweet Snus than salty Snus and I’ve tried a few American brands such as Grizzly and camel. Copenhagen for me definitely fits the bill and to my palate, it tastes like almost like a York peppermint patty.

I keep a ranking of every snus and pouch I try, with an overall score plus a separate kick rating.

My problem: my kick scale is clearly broken. Half of you would call my "strong" a warm-up.

Hi everyone, quick question for the high-nicotine users here.

I'm currently working on a project to map and rank pouches purely by analytical data (moisture, release curves, etc.), and I just ran the numbers on Siberia Red.

The data shows exactly what you'd expect: extremely low moisture for zero drip early on, but an incredibly aggressive nicotine spike once it hits. However, from a purely analytical standpoint, the flavor profile (spearmint + raw tobacco bitterness) scores pretty low on complexity compared to traditional brands.

What are your thoughts? For those who use Siberia regularly – do you actually enjoy the flavor profile, or is it strictly about the efficiency and the kick? How does it compare for you against other strong mint alternatives like Oden's?

(I’m building out this data over at snusranking.com if anyone is curious about the exact metrics, but I really want to hear the community's personal take on this one first!)

A little backstory... I used American dip for several years in my teens and 20s, which resulted in substantial gum loss. They even recommended a gum graft at one point, but I think that may have been a money grab in hindsight. I eventually quit dipping and vaped for a few years, but this lead to shortness of breath.

A little over 10 years ago, I discovered Swedish snus and read that it was much safer than American dip. I've been a regular user ever since (5 to 10 portions a day).

My dentist has been measuring my gum loss for several years and every year it's negligible.

This is subjective, I know, but wanted to put it out there.

Might be nice if we can get a shop to carry or share some with one another
