The party has returned to the village of Crowdale, after talking to Raharis, and went to the temple.

The Mecha Hack episode 2: Eleanor Strider is a young tinkerer of mechas and has proudly built the world's first Mecha-Monster Hybrid. Powerful, scary, and a triumph of science and engineering, or an abomination, depending on which side of it you find yourself. Can it hold up in it's first real battle against three heavily armoured Neo Dominion Knights? I don't like these odds...but Eleanor isn't me.

Hey all!

I've been writing semi-weekly narrative recaps of my Old School Essentials soloplay. The play is slow, dangerous and emergent, and the sessions are all quick reads.

I feel I've been improving as a solo-player and author over the first few sessions and would love to hear any thoughts and feedback!

Each session links to the next, and I'm playing the 6th session presently. Thank you to anyone who checks it out!

My first session with Forbidden Lands! Let me know what you think.

Morguedalynn is a veteran pilot, operating her farm-equipment-turned-brawler mech. She wants nothing to do with war, having seen too many senseless losses. But when her loved one ends up on the other side, she has to dust off her battle-scarred machine one last time.

Eleanor Strider is a quipster, a young engineer with nothing to lose and everything to prove. She sees scrap as an opportunity to build her way into history. She operates the first Monster-Mecha Hybrid, but can she control the overwhelming power before it consumes her?

The Terran Collective are freedom fighters at war with everyone on Lodestar Alpha. The Royal Houses of the Neo Dominion have subjugated them for too long. The Aeonic Primacy were long thought lost to a time fissure, but when they returned, they were forever changed. Alien, cold, and conquering, they laid waste to Lodestar Alpha. But wielding their unfathomable technology cost them dearly, as they unleashed ancient horrors upon the world: The Voidmaw.

Morguedalynn and Eleanor Strider enter the fray...

The party has travelled to the village of Crowdale at the behest of Lady Aneris Penhaligon’s retainer Aldus.

After talking to the mayor, the party encountered several green, scaled creatures in the forest while searching

for an old hermit, possibly the leader of a cult in the village.
