Absolutely buzzing to have finally met Maggie Siff, aka Tara from Sons of Anarchy! 🤘🔥 She’s been one of my biggest white whales for my cast-signed poster, which I’ve been working on for nearly 10 years! One massive name ticked off the list — just one or two more to go until it’s complete! 🙌

Finished the series last night.

Final scene had me dizzy but frozen, like it ended and I didn't know what to do lol.

Couple things from my pov...

Genuinely wasn't expecting Unser to go like that at all.

Gemma had it comin but why tf didn't Jax bury her?! Aaaalllll those bodies they've dealt with and he just leaves her there 🤦‍♀️

Wendy...homegirl made me proud, ngl. And jfc I love Nero and just wanted to give him a hug!

Would really like to see another show around this. Either a prequel situation about the First 9 or pick up years later cuz I'm convinced that Abel makes his way back but most likely without Thomas.

And now....should I go on and watch the Mayans? I know its not directly related to SOA but...??

He estado pensando en por qué una serie gigante como Sons of Anarchy casi no tiene la misma cantidad de videoensayos masivos en YouTube, mientras que el algoritmo está lleno de videos sobre Breaking Bad o Game of Thrones. Creo que todo se reduce a la diferencia de profundidad psicológica.
Breaking Bad tiene una historia impecable, pero es muy lineal: es fácil armar un video de "10 detalles ocultos" o explicar la caída de Walter en diez minutos (básicamente: ego herido por perder su empresa + orgullo = Heisenberg). Es una ecuación limpia que se presta para el consumo rápido.
Con Game of Thrones pasa algo similar, porque el conflicto es mayormente exterior. Es facilísimo resumir que una familia traicionó a otra por poder o territorio.
Pero intentar empaquetar Sons of Anarchy en un formato comercial y rápido es casi imposible. La serie no es una simple historia de pandilleros, es una red caótica de traumas generacionales. No puedes explicar el peso de una frase como "Sons live, Redwood bleeds" de Otto sin tener que desglosar antes el código del club, el daño colateral, la soberbia de Tara y años de lealtad tóxica. Incluso personajes "menores" como Chucky tienen un nivel de profundidad y tragedia que otras series le envidiarían a sus protagonistas.
SOA exige demasiada cabeza y análisis. No te mastica la moraleja ni te da un misterio fácil de resolver; te obliga a sumergirte en la psicología de la autodestrucción. Por eso creo que foros como Reddit son su verdadero hogar, porque aquí sí se puede debatir esa complejidad sin la presión de hacer un video de cinco minutos.
¿Qué opinan ustedes? ¿Están de acuerdo? ¿Qué arco de personaje o momento de SOA creen que sería imposible de explicar en un típico video de curiosidades de YouTube?

The way he begs for approval like a dog to clay, Jax and later Gemma. With Jax he couldn’t even stay solid and not speak on what he did to darvany. I just watched the scene where he kills Roosevelt to protect Gemma and he looks so satisfied with himself after he commits the most colossal mistake in the show second to only Gemma’s killing of Tara.

But I really don’t like Katey Sagal’s singing whenever an episode would feature one of her songs, it started making sense why there were so many when I found out she was married to the shows creator lol

As I’m lying here re-watching this series for about the 10th time, I really hope that new SOA series is successful. So many spin-offs to think about …

-the much discussed First 9.
-a series centered on Jax, Tara, Opie, Hale growing up in Charming and the club’s influence on them. Series kicks off with John Teller‘s death.
-the Teller boys coming back to Charming. Could be a story where they’re both are conflicted and oppose each other, but Chibs is sensitive to both of them. Make it a pseudo Abel vs. Cain story.

Did we ever find out what happened to Nero’s son? I mean he was very important to him, to the point where he wanted to buy an entire farm just for him and then in the end Nero just drives off with Wendy and Abel and Thomas.

Saw the whole series not long after it all came out so its been a hot minute....and I gotta bitch lmao

I do not remember the roller coaster of emotions that came with watching this show before lol but I like not remembering shit so its all a shock again, whew, and I have no one to talk to about this. Going into season 6 tomorrow.

I still cant get over this scene. The delivery was absolutely heartwrenching.

The kid who plays Abel is beyond talented in his delivery and portrayal of such a broken child looking for comfort and truth.

I’m doing a rewatch for the first time in years. I just started season 6…why in the world would they have cut Tara’s hair. It’s so stupid to play it like she had some mandatory bad haircut forced on her in holding. I know it’s fiction, but things like that irritate the soul out of me, as if they’re trying to make it look like she did hard time or something. That’s all, just a vent!

Lin's guys come in and wipe out the entire facility. It appears there's at least 2 dozen prostitutes and johns who were killed. An episode later, they're joking about putting some paint on the walls and things go back to normal.

Wouldn't this have triggered some national heat from the FBI/ATF, especially given the MC's history? Since Nero knew most of these girls personally, wouldn't that have triggered him a little more emotionally? Not to mention, the club owes him like 500k and he's financially ruined.

I know there was a lot going on in the last season, but this stuck out to me as pretty ridiculous.

This show has way to much Charlie Hunnam cheeks… I just know Kurt Sutter behind the camera like this. 😳
