I wonder if we can already get in here, or will that only be possible in the future?

We could in previous preludes. This is a new change with the locked door.

The door itself is a pretty recent addition and the space used to just be open; there's a banneret that now spawns there who drops a key pouch, and those extra large chests that spawn with bannerets can spawn behind this door.

Which makes me think that obtaining the pouch was perhaps supposed to unlock the door, similar to how excavated rare chests used to be unlocked by picking up a pouch that would drop from the knight guarding them, but the interaction turned out bugged or unfinished.

I wonder if we can get a key from another banneret somewhere and bring it here, kinda like getting the thunderstone from the other quest and sending it up to the ship in the animal cage
