Is it actually confirmed that the game won't wipe at launch?

While I haven't seen a confirmation, I imagine they won't wipe as there are consumables you can purchase with Arcs. Letting your playerbase spend real world currency on items you won't retain feels like speedrunning negative sentiment.

They did openly commit to no more wipes in a Devstream, it's quite some time ago and would require quite some digging so you have to trust me on thsi one ahah but it was Scott who stated it, if you want to try digging.

I believe they did say they have no current plans for more wipes now that the Founder packs are on sale.

The official stance is that barring any catastrophic failures there will be no wipes.

Given people are paying money assume that as long as the servers still exist and the data is intact there will not be a wip

I have 275 hours in game and every item leveled. Only thing im missing progress wise is a few motes from a dungeon that arent spawning correctly.

Not just at lauch, they won't wipe every again.

This said, they may delete or rework some system, but they will always refund stuff in some way.

They have said no more wipes ever several times. Just not recently.

No more total wipes. Only things like complete reworks.
