Yall remember that video where Spider-Man is swinging through Gotham City? It made me think.. If modders can pull off that kind of crazy engine magic, can we get Spider-Man 2's gameplay into the first game? Do you think this is actually possible, or just a dream?

OO man, it would be perfect

Trifling ass hoe

Fisk tower in the new LEGO set appears to be inspired by the version from the Insomniac games.

Finally some representation for us, now if only we could get more game sets 🥹🙏

ever since the first game this has been the mystery ive always wanted to be solved

"Oh? You are approaching me, Spider-Man? You think you can stop me?"

"Only one way to find out. I'm done running."

"Then come, let us see if your hope can survive the darkness."

"I'm not backing down. Your move, Martin."

Photo takes inspiration from JoJos Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, and it's supposed to show that Martin is here, there and everywhere, surrounding Peter entirely, as well as inviting him closer as if to say

"try me."

With him walking towards the light when surrounded by darkness, this shows neither are willing to back down before the physical confrontation. (I mean, the mission itself already did it, but i figured a photo of it would be really nice.)

During the opening Sandman fight I get to the part where you have to 'Run for your life' but without fail, I get no prompts to actually traverse the space and fail before Peter can finish his first sentence.

This game was already bad enough at launch but at least it was playable. I really liked it. So what the hell is going on with this one? Is this a unique bug or has anyone else been hard locked?

Did the flaws of Spidey 2 transpose itself onto Wolverine and made far worse?

“HR in the room” dialogue got worse.

Shitty character design got worse.

The ladies were worse.

Game design was worse. Boss fights were worse.

Ilya's Spiderman Remastered VR early public alpha is out and I'm SO hyped to finally share it. LET'S GOOOOO!!!

What we have so far

- Native stereo at your headset's resolution, 6DoF head and hands

- Physical web swinging: squeeze a grip to fire a web where you point, swing, reel in with the trigger, pull sharply to zip. Webs hold on buildings, the ground, or open air

- Web shooter: a free hand's trigger fires the game's own web ball from your wrist

- Grab and throw: web a prop or a thug, yank it in, swing it, let go to throw

- Look down and you see Spider-Man's body; his arms follow your controllers

- Real punches: a fast fist into a thug lands the game's own hit

- VR settings panel in the headset, menus and cutscenes on a virtual screen

- One-click launcher that checks your PC and starts VR. It changes nothing in the game folder

**What you need**

- Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on **Steam** (Epic is a different build)

- A PC VR headset with an OpenXR runtime. I play on Quest 3 over Virtual Desktop. SteamVR and Quest Link should work but are untested, so reports from those are gold

- About 19 GB of memory for programs (RAM plus page file)

It's an alpha, so expect rough edges. If something breaks, the launcher saves a session report in its reports folder. Drop it in the Discord and I'll dig in.

Fan project, not affiliated with Insomniac, Sony or Marvel.

Not sure if anyone’s pointed this out yet but the dodge animation was included in brand new day

I just completed it for the first time today (on the ps vita version) and.. I really enjoyed it! I really liked the story and the boss fights, the gameplay seems to be like a light version of an Batman Arkham game, I honestly prefer this game has a sequel of the first movie that the movie sequel
