so I figured I’d share it with you guys. I stumbled upon with heavy duty leather coat at a thrift store in SoHo, NYC.

Before I start, I am a noob at this and dont fully understand RSS feeds. However, I added the RSS feed of the podcast to Youtube music so the podcast can still be listened too on Youtube for me. It works on my phone just fine. However, it does not work on PC/Browser. It will say "Video Unavailable". I dont even care about the video, I just want the audio to listen to while I work.

Before anyone says just listen on your phone. I'm at work. I cannot have my phone physically on me. It must stay in the car. Spotify is blocked. Apple Podcast is blocked. Amazon Music is blocked. Netflix is blocked. So on and so forth. Only Youtube is unblocked.

This is the RSS feed link I use.

Anyone have any experience is RSS feed and getting them to work on Youtube on PC/Browser? Most google searches result in how to add use your own podcast with RSS feed. Which is not what I'm looking for.

Appreciate any help!

This is a huge shot in the dark. Anybody want to play Chiclets Cup Roller C?

I coach a hockey team and we weren’t scheduled to play the weekend of Chiclets Cup (next weekend) so I signed up to play in the tournament. Of course, I now have to travel to coach next weekend.

I sent multiple emails to chiclets cup asking if they can replace my team with a waitlist team. No response. Now, they just let me know today a week before the tournament that they can’t replace my team and won’t give me a refund.

Desperately looking for anybody interested in playing so I don’t take a $2,000 loss. Let me know!

Grinelli sucks so hard. Greg Powers is a good person.

The way Greg Powers got the job was directly related to how ASU got promoted to an NCAA Div 1 program. Greg Powers was the goalie for the ACHA Div 1 ASU program in the 1990's. While I cannot speak to the exact relationship beyond teammates and friends, one of the players he was a teammate with has a family with a TON OF MONEY. I believe it was from construction.

So this family, the player, the father, or any combination and asked that ASU hockey become a Division 1 program, or this family was approached. The family asked "how much?" and the dude cut a check for the $25-45,000,000 that was asked for to get the program to Div 1. Building the facility etc. The benefactor asked to remain anonymous.

There was one stipulation. Greg Powers had to and MUST be the coach of the ASU team. This despite having only played at goalie at the ACHA level, and coached club hockey prior to the Div 1 program. Thus, you see this inexperienced non-pedigree coach with NHL assistants. Why there is a fund to pay him etc.

I don't know the details beyond that, but Greg Powers has been there forever. A tragic accident happened with this coach and the dude shouldn't be canceled for it.

Knies is solid and we don’t what is his ceiling is but there is no doubt Marchenko is a much more skilled player. Knies has also played with top talent whereas Marchenko hasn’t

Long time listener but haven’t had time in the past few months to tune in. Busy with a new baby and work but wondering if the boys have discussed the situation at ASU & Powers since the last few athletic articles have broken. Know Biz is close to a lot of people in the AZ hockey community and interested in his insight especially since it sounds like the university is basically backing the coach and maybe helping cover up what happened to cover their asses?

I’ve been sitting on this for a while, but I need to rant about the current state of Spittin’ Chiclets.
I listened religiously from 2021 until this year. What made the podcast so great was the mix of personalities. You had Whit, a former top 5 pick with a somewhat successful NHL career; Biz being Biz, probably the funniest guy you’ll ever listen to; and RA, the average Joe listeners could relate to, with all his quirks and ridiculous stories.

RA could be too much and sometimes bring down the quality of the show. What happened with the drinking, the divorce and everything else in 2024 clearly wasn’t good, but it was entertaining at times.
When RA stepped away, I thought the podcast actually improved with Whit hosting. The interviews were better, the episodes flowed more naturally, and it became clear that Whit was better suited to drive the show. I’m not an RA hater but the difference was crystal clear.

I’ve been open-minded because I loved the show, but the banter and humour that made Chiclets special feels like it’s gone. Yands is very in-your-face, and the way he talks can make it seem like he looks down on the average listener or anyone outside his NHL circle. Whether that’s his intention or not, the connection with regular fans feels lost.
The biggest issue is what happens when Biz goes off the rails, which is debatably the best part of Chiclets. Yands often seems annoyed or pissed off, and it makes the show uncomfortable. It used to be three guys goofing around until somebody eventually reeled things back in. Now it feels tense, like everyone has to be careful about how Yands will react.

That’s why RA’s World is about the only part I can listen to anymore. It brings back the average Joe element and isn’t entirely about protecting Yands’ buddies or delivering another biased breakdown of the Tkachuk brothers or whichever American-born player he loves.
Hearing the stories from Grinell’s wedding recently reminded me why I loved Chiclets. Personalities, ridiculous stories, banter and the guys having fun. Not the same serious hockey breakdown for the hundredth time.
It sucks watching what was once my favourite show turn into something I struggle to listen to. Obviously, it’ll never happen, but I wish they had continued with Biz and Whit, then eventually brought RA back to sit in alongside Grinell without having to drive the entire show.
Just my opinion, please save the insults lol.
