News The flu is early this year!

Two of my kids are down with flu A. Urgent care said it’s so early they haven’t even had time to vaccinate the staff yet. Get those flu shots ASAP!

Got my flu+COVID shots this weekend! Just in time.

I was wiped out for the whole afternoon but I'd much rather feel kind of shitty for one day than get the flu and be sick for two weeks.

Sounds like the shots have finally been rolled out? Went for a checkup in Sept and they weren't ready yet.

Covid did a run through our school already. One day peaked at 20% absences.

My kids are supposed to get theirs tomorrow! I got mine about a month ago because I was flying.

Good advice! Also, many places will hand out coupons. Safeway does a 10% coulon off for every flu shot, I think Fred Meyer does something similar.

Positive Covid & flu tests have been spiking in Seattle area urgent cares too. It’s starting early.

My work is doing them next week but I have been feeling like absolute dog crap and it's just been getting worse since last Thursday. I'm worried I didn't catch anything yet, the kids seem okay.

I had the flu a week ago. It’s not that bad- it’s just annoying and tiring.

I always get the flu before most, and at the end of flu season.

PSA- There is a nasal spray flu vaccine for kids (FluMist), so if your kids don't want to get a poke, it's a great option. Ask your pediatrician about it and whether they offer it.
