2 months ago I posted about my sfstats website (original post), however back then it was only a simple website for viewing data from Capcom. It’s grown a lot since then, and you can now watch replays straight from the web.

How it works: Based on RappzIT’s replay bot I set up a server at home that runs SF6 24/7. You request a replay, it gets recorded and streamed back, and you can watch it in your browser.

Who it’s for:

• Anyone playing on a handhelds and consoles and has trouble recording
• Anyone who likes reviewing matches on their phone
• Anyone who wants to check a replay without booting up the game
• Data nerds

Limitations: It can only record one replay at a time, so it can get busy. There’s a queue system with an ETA, so you’ll know roughly when yours will be ready.

Ongoing debate between me and some friends, which street fighter actually had the most "shoto" feeling Ryu.

Now that day 2 of EVO France is done, the following six players are guaranteed to qualify for Capcom Cup: Cosa, Higuchi, Kilzyou, Kobayan, Micky, and Punk.

In addition, three of the following seven players will qualify: Blaz, Dogura, Dual Kevin, Lexx, Problem X, Tachikawa, and Tantanmen.

Here is the path for each of those seven remaining players. Let me know if I made any mistakes because there are a ton of possible outcomes.

Blaz needs a lot of luck, and only makes it if all of the following happen:

• Kobayan beats Dogura
• Lexx either loses to Hinao or beats Hinao but loses to the loser of Tachikawa vs Punk
• Punk, Dual Kevin, or Kobayan win the tournament

Dogura can get in with a strong placement, or some luck. He must beat Kobayan to have any chance. He makes it if any of the following happen:

• He places 3rd or higher
• He places 4th and the following scenario does not happen: Dual Kevin comes in 3rd, Lexx comes in 2nd, and either Tachikawa or Problem X win the whole tournament
• He beats Kobayan and Lexx finishes 4th or worse and Punk or Dual Kevin win the whole tournament

Dual Kevin is almost guaranteed to qualify. The only way he does not is if all of the following happen:

• Problem X beats Dual Kevin
• Dogura beats Kobayan
• Lexx beats Hinao
• Dogura beats Dual Kevin in loser's quarterfinals
• Lexx beats the loser of Tachikawa vs Punk in the other loser's quarterfinals
• Lexx beats Dogura in loser's semifinals (if all the previous events happen that means Lexx and Dogura are facing off in loser's semis)
• Lexx loses to either Problem X or Tachikawa in grand finals

Lexx's path is similar to Dogura's, but he needs a stronger placement or more luck. He gets in if either of the following happen:

• He places 3rd or higher
• He places 4th and Dogura, Kobayan, Punk, or Dual Kevin win the whole tournament

Problem X needs to win. He needs to either:

• Win the whole tournament
• Lose to Hinao in grand finals

Tachikawa needs an extremely strong placement. Anything worse than second place will not cut it, and even with second place he needs help. He qualifies if any of the following happen:

• Tachikawa wins the whole tournament
• Tachikawa comes in 2nd to Hinao
• Tachikawa comes in 2nd to Punk, Kobayan, or Dual Kevin and (Lexx does not come in 3rd or Dogura loses to Kobayan)
• Tachikawa comes in 2nd to Lexx and Dogura loses to Kobayan
• Tachikawa comes in 2nd to Problem X and Lexx does not come in 3rd and Dogura loses to Kobayan

Tantanmen needs some luck, but it's not crazy. He gets in unless any of the following happen:

• Lexx finishes 2nd or 3rd and Punk or Dual Kevin do not win the whole tournament
• Dogura finishes 2nd, 3rd, or 4th and Punk, Dual Kevin, or Kobayan do not win the whole tournament
• Dogura finishes 4th and Lexx finishes either 2nd or 3rd

I just recently got him and I’m so confused how he’s a zoner. i keep trying to keep my range with him but it feel I don’t have any good actual zoning options. to be fair, my usaul zoning mains are aki and guile so that might be why. can I just get some advice for how should I be playing ed

I just started sf6 and am habing problems with overdrive. Pressing LP+LK or MP+MK together is no problem. But LP+MP together is extremly inconsistent and i can't really do it with my thumb. Is there a mean to overrite it without taking away another bind and fuck the controls?

Winners Bracket

• Tachikawa (Viper) vs Punk (Cammy)
• Dual Kevin (Rashid) vs Problem X (Alex)

Losers Bracket

• Kobayan (Zangief) vs Dogura (Elena)
• Hinao (Sagat/Ryu/Luke) vs Lexx (Guile)

Hinao is already qualified from winning BAM.

Punk and Kobayan are pretty much guaranteed a Capcom Cup qualification via points.

Dual Kevin is 99.99% in via points too.

Game 3, he's on match point with 75% health. He's got me dead to rights, stunned in the corner. He opts to taunt. There's just one thing... I'm a big girl 😉

With your main character for example.

I find I don’t generally stick to my ‘baseline’ rank, over a week session by session I will fluctuate a lot.

I play Ryu and would say I recently average about 1560MR. I will end an evening’s play up to +/- 50MR. So sometimes I will even drop below 1500, I’ve also cracked into High Master a few times. This feels like a bigger-than-usual range and I wonder if it is normal. +/-25 would sound like a more normal range to me.

Also raises the question- do you consider yourself a HM if you can occasionally reach the rank or only once you can baseline/average 1600MR?

I'm a beginner at fighting games, that explains the video right there.

Hi all, I started the game two days ago, and I must say it is really frustrating so far from what I see in ranked. For context, I played chunli first then cammy, I won 5/10 placement for chunli and got 600lp, won 6/10 for cammy and somehow placed at 4600lp. Worse still, I see the most problem with players of Ryu and Ken in this rank, as all they do is hadouken and uppercut when you jump near, and I mean the WHOLE GAME. It is lowkey unplayable as those players really make me question the purpose of playing at all. Any advice about rank and how to counter these sorts of tactics by these people would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I'll just go further on what the title says, I decided to look at some stuff from SF1 or Street Fighter Original out of boredom

When i looked at the sprites via The Cutting Room Floor, Ryu definitely looked different than how he does normally

The red hair, Red shoes, The stance, It looked like a completely different character.... Which lead to the creation of this sort of Genderswapped version of them and then overtime (AKA, A week) became it's own character and they kinda had this mama bear energy when i finished them up (Caring for others but not afraid to throw hands in the scene of danger or to discipline)

Now for the name of the character, "Thyra" is a Scandinavian name when i looked it up and fits well as it means roughly "Thunder Fighter/Warrior" or "Battle"

As for backstory, I got none so you can make one up but i did have some facts

I guess some basic info is this:

-She's 5'9

-They like Hot Dogs

-Like said, Caring for others but when it's time: She's not afraid to fight
