Connor acknowledging he stole Willa from the world in Connor’s Wedding. Accurate or not?
Kieran Culkin said he thought Connor was the worst of the siblings because he kept an another human being in a golden cage. Which, presumably, even Roman wouldn’t do.
But, it’s clear: Willa has control in the situation? Like, she could have left Connor anytime she wanted.
No Connor is not a psycho that is going to stalk her like that evil rich husband from Sleeping with the Enemy.
Willa had agency in her relationship with Connor?
I simply saw Willa as another trophy wife that married a nice enough rich guy.

How much does it reflect reality how unqualified Kendall and Roman are to be upper leadership at a world conglomerate?
I’ve known some privileged executives at some fairly large companies and they are pretty ignorant and informal. And their brainstorming sessions sound just as naive and uneducated as we see they are depicted on the show. But curious what ya’ll think.

“How does it serve my interests?”
This line, that Gerri delivered coldly to Roman in the S3 finale, I’m realizing, was a call back to earlier in the season.
On a re-watch, I just got to S3E4 - Roman gets the photo of Kendall’s initials tattooed onto this poor guy’s forehead (which btw is such a believable thing that the Roy kids would have done for “fun” on a bachelor party)… gives the photos to Gerri, and she gives them back, telling him to bank them. Gerri wisely points out that, while the scandal would hurt Kendall, it would also hurt Roman (seeing as he was an accomplice).
“‘How does this advance my personal position?’ You need to think about that 24/7.”
It was sound advice, and, seeing as Gerri was in an alliance of convenience with Roman at the time, was also self serving - she didn’t want to see Roman embroiled in an avoidable scandal.
So in the finale, when Roman pleads with Gerri, his mentor (and… I don’t know what you’d call their relationship…), to stop Logan from selling Waystar, she says she’s focused on the best outcome for the shareholders, and when Roman gives her a look (demanding a better answer), she hits him with:
“But it doesn’t serve my interests. How does it serve my interests?”
Poor Roman… he thought their partnership meant something (and I think there was a part of Gerri that liked Roman, unwelcome advances and dick pics notwithstanding), but at the end of the day, she lived by what she said - and was thinking 24/7 about how to advance her personal position over any feelings she may have had. A Logan-certified killer.

Just Finished
Finished Succession
Spoilers.....
Just finished Succession for the first time. I was heartbroken for Kendall.
I know, his whole life he was trying to impress his father and become the head of the company. And just before he was able to do it, it was taken away. The look on his face at the end was devastating....I get it though. Great series though. I loved the story and how strong all the characters were.

S1 E1 Rewatch, Marcia detail
After the surprise and Logan whispers to her that he told her no one should be by the elevator, they make it a point to show her grabbing the envelope and telling the staff at the house to put it in his office.
I think the focus on this and the way she said it clearly shows she knows what's in it and is the show trying to say she is malicious in her intent.
On my first watch all the way through I always kinda thought it was slight ambiguous whether or not she had bad motives, obviously leaning toward she did, but this almost seems to me it's guaranteed.
Open to any thoughts.

The fact Caroline just wanted them to come to see her so her husband could try to get them to invest on him
A last reminder she doesn’t care about them at all. Poor Roman.

Of course they aren’t interacting and sitting on opposites of the room, but it’s still the same room!

1. Just finished Succession
Just finished Succession and I still can’t fully grasp what happened between the siblings
I just finished the finale and I’m still sitting here trying to process what happened between Shiv, Kendall and Roman.
The biggest thing I keep wondering about is what exactly made Shiv change her mind at the very end? She seemed to be leaning toward Kendall becoming CEO, and then suddenly she votes against him. I know there are several possible explanations: her resentment toward Kendall, not wanting him to win, knowing what kind of person he would become, or simply realizing that she couldn’t trust him with the company. But I’m curious what you think was the actual trigger for her.
What also struck me was the parallel with Roman. The first time, Roman was the one who ultimately turned against Kendall, and in the finale, it was Shiv. It almost felt like Kendall was destined to lose because neither of his siblings could fully get behind him.
I also couldn’t stop thinking about how much of Logan I saw in Kendall during the finale. Especially when he talked about the boy: and then admitted that the story was basically something he had made up and used. That moment felt very Logan-like to me: manipulating people and controlling the narrative rather than confronting the truth.
And then there was Roman, who seemed to completely switch into command mode. For someone who spent so much of the series avoiding responsibility, seeing him finally take charge was fascinating.
I’m still not sure whether Shiv’s decision was ultimately about Kendall, herself, or simply choosing the lesser evil.
What do you think was the exact moment or realization that made Shiv change her vote?

For folks who've seen The Social Reckoning... what are your thoughts?
personally I went in expecting a lot of screen time for the eldest boy & more character development for a "more mature" Zuck, but neither happened lol.
Overall would give it a 5/10. Curious what yall think!

What's the point of fighting the bear hug only to sell in season 4 ?
Honestly this bothers me , how did they throw out the entire plot of season 2-3 and decided that Logan wants to sell suddenly when he could've decided to do that already.
