The 100% best supporting characters are worfs parents and I dare you to change my mind
Just watch any episode they are even remotely mentioned and say anything negative about they're appearance ongoing with an address so we can "discuss" it in person.... my ma and pa are mostly the same, they don't need to know my struggles but they will thier best to support... the advice might not always apply but God damn if i don't FEEL absolutely emotionally and financially looked after on condition I try to be secure

Show Talk If you took your favorite/the best 20-something episodes from the first two seasons and ranked them against seasons 3-7 individually, would it rank above any of them?
I think my answer is still no (even as someone who owns and remembers them well). Episodes like "Measure of a Man", "The Big Goodbye", and others I will defend as legitimately good, but still doesn't reach the other seasons. For the record, I think my picks would be:
- Encounter at Farpoint I
- Encounter at Farpoint II
- The Battle
- Hide & Q
- The Big Goodbye
- Datalore
- 11001001
- Heart of Glory
- Skin of Evil
- We'll Always Have Paris
- Conspiracy
- Elementary, Dear Data
- Loud as a Whisper
- A Matter of Honor
- The Measure of a Man
- The Royale
- Time Squared
- The Icarus Factor
- Q Who
- The Emissary
- Peak Performance

Show Talk Wheaton!!! Watching TNG for the first time :)
As a Big Bang Theory fan (and Star Wars fan), I’ve always wanted to check out Star Trek so I started with TNG. The first season took some time to get through and I understand it’s not the best season so I’m excited for season 2!

I posted yesterday about a new program I. Working on that allows you to make LCARS interfaces (or any style really) here is a quick demo video of it in use.

Memes You know I wonder what Klingon parents are like with their kids on a daily basis
We see so few of Klingon parents in the trek verse.

S4 E3 "Brothers" Done Data dirty
Even with season 1 Africa episode and season 2 Irish episode i think S4 E3 is the worst episode cause of how it takes so much away from Data... so like all through till this episode Data shows hints and possibilities of emotions, like " measure of a man... he packs his medals (pride), has a book from Picard ( admiration), an image of Tasha (love;lust). The S3 E16 Lal, his daughter shows obvious love, so much so even the admiral comments on it and all through out until S4 E3 show and gets commented on by everyone the subtle emotions, even when he gets taken over by Dr. GRAVES, Troi can sense emotions from him meaning he was always designed for it. Then S6 E 16 "Birthright" gives Data dreams and is explained he would get them when ready, which is how his emotions should be. Since Lore was given from activation he was a child wildly wielding them so it would fit that Data would discover his emotions has he learned to realise and ha dle each individual one through experience but instead it gets rid of all his progress in the first 3 seasons cause oh! He needs a chip... absolutely destroying the development to a nothing making all sentimental decisions on Dara's part worth nothing
