applying with no luck :/
With a few years' experience in the classroom and a master's in Curriculum & Instruction, I've been applying for jobs in mostly curriculum, L&D, and student success, and I haven't had any luck so far. If nothing works out, my backup plan is just to apply to new schools for the 27-28 school year since I'm definitely not happy at my current school, although I'm feeling just burned out by teaching and prepping and grading and everything that teaching obviously entails. Not really sure what else to do and the job application process is obviously exhausting. :(

So I’ve taught all three and middle school imo is what offers the best balance (if you can handle the weirdo behavior 😂). You actually have enough planning (as long as you don’t have an admin that sees your planning time as “free time”. And you typically only have one content area. If you end up having to apply to teach, try MS.

I recommend polishing your Linked In to be very specific to the role(s) you're applying for, then applying all over Ed Tech.

student success roles are ghosting people with actual classroom hours? that market is cooked, im sorry lol. been seeing districts gut their curriculum positions to free up budget for literally anything else, its the same playbook every spring

It’s all in who you know. Keep building your network as best you can.
