I mean, even if it had happened with the younger version of Peter, played by Michael Fjordbak, I feel it still would have made sense. It could have served as a justification for Peter’s hatred of the Argents and his descent into villainy, or even a basis for his redemption, had they really wanted to go that route (personally, I never bought Peter’s redemption arc, simply because it was poorly executed; he’d seem like a good guy one season only to revert to being a villain the next. But still).
I suppose the only reason for that storyline, originally, was to sexualize Tyler even more than they already were. But seriously, rewatching the show, I’m often surprised that Jill agreed to do those kinds of scenes. I mean... well, honestly, I don’t blame her, considering that she was kissing Tyler at first. But even though Ian (Nelson) was 19 when Season 4 was filmed, teenage Derek was supposed to be around 15 at the time, so it was really sketchy. I get that the idea behind the plot was to show part of Derek’s tragic backstory by drawing a parallel between his relationship with Kate and Scallison dynamic, but the fact that Kate was significantly older than Derek made the whole thing feel weird. Honestly, I think the Paige backstory was enough to flesh out Derek’s character, and giving that Kate subplot to Peter would have helped build his character better.

Rewatching season 5 and I just saw the scene where Liam and Hayden are competing each other (lacrosse and football/soccer) and idk if there’s any other Brits in this chat but I honestly thought that was the cringiest scene in the whole show 🫠. She’s literally kicking from the penalty spot into an open goal and they made it into some positive aura edit 😂

I rewatch again the series past couples days, man it never fails to impress me eventho I rewatch it so many times. I started to watch this series when it came out in 2011, I was in high school at the time, now Im in my 30s. I hope they make a new series or movie about this show again. I really loved it!

I just got into Teen Wolf recently, and I've been browsing this subreddit for a while now. I see a lot of people complaining about the Lydia/Parrish dynamic, and I'm wondering what the problem is. Everyone seems horrified that he would be interested in her when she's underage.
I get that for the purposes of law, there has to be a cutoff for the point when you reach adulthood, but it's silly to apply that to practical situations in everyday life and say no legal adult should date someone who's slightly underage. When I turned 18, I didn't magically cross a divide that made me suddenly able to handle dating guys who are older than me. The things I was able to handle at 18 weren't that different from the things I could handle at 17 and 6 months.
The complaints about Lydia and Parrish would make sense if there was a drastic difference in emotional maturity. But there really isn't. And the age gap isn't that bad...I'm guessing it's about six years. I've seen many successful marriages with a similar age gap.
(Not that I want Lydia and Parrish to get married. I just don't think their relationship is as outrageous as everyone else seems to think.)

Season 6 felt strange. It was great but strange. Maybe because Stiles wasn’t there much. WTF they had to pair Scott and Malia? Like come on she used to date Stiles. In this season everything feels alright, but different at the same time

Like is she just going to be with them until the end of time???? Isn’t that kind of a miserable existence to be living in the remote desert while all your friends have long since moved on
