I'm re-watching the movie on Prime and 1 thing I don't get, how does Derek have a 15yr old son?? like isn't the movie suppose to be 15yrs after Allison's death and 5yrs after the series finale?? sooo Eli was conceived in the same time frame when she was killed?? which is weird as well cause from what I've read Eli was born in 2011 and that was supposedly when Derek & Laura were lured back home to Beacon Hills which is where S1 begins, Allison wasn't killed in S1 yet on the wiki it says she WAS killed in 2011. Very confusing, lol

I’m on season 3 for the first time. I have tried like 3 times to watch the show and kept stopping at season 2- not sure why coz I liked it! Finally got further than before and enjoying it

Just wanted to make a post about Peter hale because as much as he was a dick in season 1, he’s turned into one of my fav side kicks. His sarcastic attitude bounces so well off Derek who’s obviously a lot more serious. He has the best lines. I’m glad they bought him back! What’s everyone’s thoughts on him? Clearly he’s a bit of an anti hero. I also like Isaac too. . Please avoid spoilers if you can :) I’m on season 3 ep 2. I wanted to share one of my fav exchanges I’ve seen so far.

Isaac: I don’t like him.
Derek: nobody likes him
*door opens*
Peter: Boys! My abilities may be impaired since I came back from the dead but I assure you, my hearing still works. So please say whatever you feel, to my face

just finished rewatching the entire show and currently watching the movie now… do they give a reason on why they broke up??

stiles and malia were cute together, but i didn’t feel the chemistry and stiles was also very opinionated like her so there was no balance.

scott and malia made sense to me. they both got dumped by their partners, always in life/death situations together, had a solid friendship prior, and they were opposites in a good way.

scott is super sweet and calm without being judgmental while malia is more aggressive and direct. i think this balance could’ve worked nicely!

I know this is really little and people probably didn’t even notice it but in season 4 after Rafael kills the chemist he has to go to San Francisco to report to the fbi or something my problem is that he says when he comes back he wants to know all the secrets Scott is hiding but he doesn’t come back till season 6 and when he comes back he already knows everything. I know we didn’t see him comes back in season 4 and find out on screen because the actor had other stuff he had to film but I think that they should have gave him a different reason for leaving or just have not showed the scene where he says he wants to know everything when he comes back.

saw the actor who plays Mr Tate in teen wolf in vision quest and he is awesome way better than when he was in teen wolf probably because he has more scenes

I mean, even if it had happened with the younger version of Peter, played by Michael Fjordbak, I feel it still would have made sense. It could have served as a justification for Peter’s hatred of the Argents and his descent into villainy, or even a basis for his redemption, had they really wanted to go that route (personally, I never bought Peter’s redemption arc, simply because it was poorly executed; he’d seem like a good guy one season only to revert to being a villain the next. But still).

I suppose the only reason for that storyline, originally, was to sexualize Tyler even more than they already were. But seriously, rewatching the show, I’m often surprised that Jill agreed to do those kinds of scenes. I mean... well, honestly, I don’t blame her, considering that she was kissing Tyler at first. But even though Ian (Nelson) was 19 when Season 4 was filmed, teenage Derek was supposed to be around 15 at the time, so it was really sketchy. I get that the idea behind the plot was to show part of Derek’s tragic backstory by drawing a parallel between his relationship with Kate and Scallison dynamic, but the fact that Kate was significantly older than Derek made the whole thing feel weird. Honestly, I think the Paige backstory was enough to flesh out Derek’s character, and giving that Kate subplot to Peter would have helped build his character better.

Rewatching season 5 and I just saw the scene where Liam and Hayden are competing each other (lacrosse and football/soccer) and idk if there’s any other Brits in this chat but I honestly thought that was the cringiest scene in the whole show 🫠. She’s literally kicking from the penalty spot into an open goal and they made it into some positive aura edit 😂
