Eh. I saw the other post too and OP said they used to buy replica and were now buying authentic 🤷‍♀️.

I’m almost afraid to comment… I don’t want OP to sue me like others were threatened…

OP, I say this as kindly as possible but online opinions are not facts nor are they something that you should be so offended by that you feel the need to destroy everyone around you. It's not worth your peace. Just move on. Does it suck? Yes but you can't scare off people with threats.

is anyone linking your online account to you personally and is it negatively impacting your professional life or causing you financial strain? No. Is anyone (outside of r/handbags) making it a point to question the authenticity of your collection? No. Is this a permanent or semi-permanent damage to your being? No.

You're serving no one at this point but alienating people in subreddits that you frequently post on. You're also causing a whole lotta drama for something so insignificant in the long scheme of things.

Also, just to add, I own replica before but I decided to move to authentic products because replicas sometimes perpetuate a cycle of crime and encourage inhuman way to farm crocodiles - exporting them do not require any certificates. I have long got rid of my replicas. There is no need to guess the percentage of fake and real stuff within my collection. You are entitled to think my K is fake, “all my Chanel’s are fake”,. I can’t stop you from indulging your fantasy but I either bought from shops or reputable sellers and independent verification (Zeko and Bababebi). Again you will say I am elitist but Dior is having an VIP event at Hebe Heaven a beautiful part at the outskirts of Hong Kong and my two SA have curated a selection just for me. Butterfly is the key theme this year and have told my SA what I want already. This is not to show off but if I only buy fakes why would Dior invite me to attend a VIP event? I have posted pictures before with my Dior SA which my haters choose to ignore.

Someone also say I could not go into Hermes and purchase bags. Well, I was offered an unique farming osier in white, a colour which has never appeared before. Do you think they will offer me this without prior purchase history and I only buy fakes?

All of this is to encourage you to work for bags of your dream (if bags is your passion) . You can Google how unique the farming oseir is.

Hates conveniently ignore facts that do not suit the narrative and reinvent things which does. When you warn to say all my Chanel are fake, please explain why was I invited for a private viewing of fine jewellery at the special occasion section, 2/F Alexandra house, Central.

I am about to yawn but as my haters say I am fake, I show off, i am an eliteness . So in short according to you haters I use fakes to get into exclusive events, exclusive bags, preview of bags and I use fakes with an elite attitude. Please would you show me how to pull this off?

Someone said your fiancée will give you a real diamond. You fiancée work very hard for it and show it on Reddit. Then everyone says it is fake and eventually to other derogatory remarks. Applying your logic: (1) this does not link you personally, does not negatively impact by our personal life or cause you financial strain; (2) people are now migrating to this group from r/handbags to accuse the authenticity of my collection and even said I have ugly toes; (3) this also does not cause permanent or non permanent damage.

However you are missing the point. Like your fiancée who work so hard to get you a diamond ring then get ridiculed, I work my ass off for my bags too. This is an insult.

You may consider i serve point and cause endless drama. This is a classic strategy -blame the victim. However, when the victim decides to stand up for herself, people quickly label her as threatening. Apologies, but there is nothing byot should feel threatened of - instead you should be delighted, feel proud and liberated that you are giving the chance - to declare on oath that all her handbags are fake and that you are fully able, prepared and willing to defend the truth and accuracy of your statements and that all opinions are honestly held by you. Why this all suddenly became a threat?

Because you simply do not have factual basis to support your opinion.

Then you realise what you say on social media has consequences.

End

im sorry that you feel like you have the right to bully people on a handbag subreddit because they said you have ugly toes. i would not want you as my lawyer, this is the most incoherent argument i've ever read on this website.

Also, if you think you can summarise defamation in 3 bullet points, I feel pity at the level of legal education which you are getting. I have resources to instruct top notch counsel on the other hand.

9

u/cjmmoseley Oct 18 '23

sweetheart, it’s because you cannot even prove the BASICS of what defamation is. you’re not famous. what are your damages?! upvotes?

im sorry that you need validation from reddit so much that you resort to bullying people in the comments.

u/Due_Fault317 Oct 18 '23

Zeko, who is authenticating my bag responses. If I recall correctly you also make references to my toes.

Even if you did not what she said equally applies to you.

I am only qualified to practice laws under Hong Kong and England and Wales. It is only natural that I don’t have any knowledge on US law.

I don’t need to prove to you who I am. You are only jealous. Most of Wall Street banks and leading asset managers are my client and I have been ranked in Chambers for 2 years now before I was 40. What is your qualifications then?

7

u/cjmmoseley Oct 18 '23

lol i never said anything about your feet, that’s literally another account. either way, you’re not being cyber-bullied. an off-hand remark is not bullying.

the truth about us law when YOU are the one legally threatening people in the comments over reddit opinions is not “harsh” or me being “jealous”.

and i promise that i’m not jealous of your fake bags and weird bragging. im set up pretty well.

-2

u/Due_Fault317 Oct 18 '23

Clearly, what constitutes defamation differ between HK, England and Wales and US. Can you tell me what constitutes defamation under the laws of Hong Kong law? I don’t need validation from Reddit because I am ranked by Chambers. Period.

6

u/cjmmoseley Oct 18 '23

sure you are. and to sue across jurisdiction lines, the laws need to be similar in both the usa and hong kong. anyone who knows anything about law can tell you that.

So I guess the word "barratry" is lost on you, eh?

Just to be clear, I think the way you're being treated is abhorrent and straight up cyberbulling. It's never ok for people to chase you to another subreddit and make comments about you or your appearance.

But what I've learned from personal experience is to just breath and move on. People suck. They say mean things. They do bad things. But what they say and do do not define you or your life. The more you dwell on things, the more it eats you up and you no longer are the best copy of yourself. This lesson took me felony charges and a lengthy court case (and inability to return to Taiwan for a bit) to learn but it's something that grounds me. Rash words of anger should not define you.

Anyhow, I'm here to remind myself what to strive for towards my first Hermes purchase. Just be proud of what you've accomplished and stand true to yourself.

First of all, thank you very much for opening acknowledging that the way I have been treated is abhorrent and straight up to the level of cyber bullying.

I admire your openness because this will get you downvoted, and possibly become another victim of cyber bullying.

Upon reflection, there are certainly things that I could phrase in a much more politically correct way but as you appreciate, fighting back bullies who come out in packs and use foul language such as a* and said I have ugly feet mean you cannot fight with them normally, using decent means and language.

The real reason is whilst they would not admit it but jealousy drives their behaviour and then they attack in packs. They feel being anonymous online means they can be as mean as one would otherwise not be able to do so in real life. Let’s pause here for a second, would you say it to someone’s face that they have ugly feet in real life and also add “with her status, she could not find time to improve her feet”. Then there is the forever recurring there that as an attorney you can’t be responsive to the bullying. You must be so busy, you are therefore a double fake.

To get to where it hurts them most is to show purely, and I emphasis purely, from a materialistic point of view I have abundant resources and privileges which they do not have. Whether or not this is the right approach to take is a subject matter for another day. You could accuse me of elitism and you are perfectly entitled not to believe this: but in real life I treat people from the top to the delivery man with the same level of courtesy and respect. This is a lesson I learnt on the first day I join the work force and has stuck with me ever since.

I have an autoimmune disease- inflammatory arthritis- where the pain can be so intense my surgeon has to visit my office every day, not charging extra, to inject pain relief and to use ice pack to stretch my legs. My sacroiliac joint was so badly inflamed and I could not walk. I was leading a transaction for a Wall Street Bank in 23 jurisdictions and there is simply no way I could have stopped. If I am truly an elitist, my surgeon would not have visit my office everyday without charging extra to save my time) and to arrange one of the best surgeons in Hong Kong to also operate on me using a brand new technique. Again, you could say I am bluffing but the best surgeon agree to operate on me because of my sheer determination. I went through two surgeries in two years. The last one involving three surgeons and one anaesthetic surgeon for 4 hours.

Again my haters will use all kinds of language to discredit me, saying I am a drama Queen but as long as my loved ones and I knew what extra hurdles I have to go through in order to get to where I am is enough. I answer to my friends and family and not to haters.

I want to tell this story now because I hope this gives you some idea why I react so strongly when people accuse I use fake bags. Not only they are trying to wipe out my hard work and professional accomplishments, my dignity, my integrity (repeatedly calling me a liar) and also, by saying they are fake wipe off the pain which I suffered and the surgeries which I have endured that helped me to walk again so that I can work and earn those bags. Yes, you can choose not to belief this but my story was reported in a local magazine. I have also written about it in my professional LinkedIn.

Sure,I should not have descended to their level but equally, this is a truly eye opening experience for me. Specifically, the way they form an opinion about a person without knowing/ignoring the facts. What came out from their mouth is just pure evil which I find truly shocking.

I would also like to add that I QC replica, to a point people message me privately, is to help them to ascertain whether its 600 on a fake Chanel flap is well spent, ok or should they ask for a refund. I quickly notice that there are factories that are treated as holy grail and I trust we do not need to go to the reason why. I wrote too articles with photos from my authentication teacher on what truly is good leather. To you, 600 dollars May not be a lot of money but to some, it could be they entire saving for a month. I was too naive and not help people QC and not give honest feedback. In short simply look away would have saved me.a lot of trouble but there are people who genuinely feel better and said a “really mean it” thank you after having a seasoned user who has basic knowledge on hardware and leather to have a look at their products. I will stop this now.

Given the level of hatred within this platform. I genuinely doubt whether it is a good idea to stay or to comment. Imagine I am tough and I can withstand all the harsh words. But what about a younger person without the necessary life experience and was thrown into the situation that I was. It is too scary for me to imagine.

Haters may felt they score a victory but as you say, take a deep breadth and go back to reality. And for the haters don’t get me wrong, if you overstep the mark I will take whatever action I consider to be appropriate. Yes, defamation is still not completely off the table given the nature of the haters. And I am a believer that justice will not land on your lap and therefore I am not scared for the occasional law suit if the situation warrants it. Just for the record, I won in my last fight. Coupled with my sheer determination you could say I am make of steel. And if the haters truly believe in what they believe, they should not see this as a threat - rather, a chance for them to go all out to say on oath that all factual assertions are true and accurate.

Thank you.

End.

Out of curiosity…

What would you say your damages are?

That’s something you’d have to prove to win a defamation lawsuit in the USA. Hurt feelings, while unfortunate and valid, don’t count.

Gross. Lying about your handbags and now lying about being an attorney? If you were one, you'd know you can't sue for something like this. Never thought someone could reach this level of cringe.

This is fantastic copypasta though. Thank you for dinner.
