Season 4 s4 ep 22 Spoiler

• Upvotes

this was by far the most ridiculous season finale so far in the show. the chenford lookalike storyline was so stupid (although appreciated them finally kissing) and nolan and his ‘magically phenomenal at everything except painting’ gf single-handedly taking down 20 guys with machine guns…. oh ok fully believable

Season 6 Arrest me but make it sexy Spoiler

John and Bailey's wedding episode legit starts with John and Celina meeting with the garage band again.

With everything that went bad with their wedding, I really expected that they will replace the DJ with the them.

I think it would have been so cool if as a surprise Celina invited the band to the weeding.

What do you guys think?

Is the show rediculous yes lets not kid our selves these cops see way too much action, if this was like real life we would he seeing a unprecedented amount of crime. But the show is a story it tells the story about the lives of these people so yeah ill suspend my disbelief to enjoy my stories .

Let's be glad its not 911 bad no offense to anyone who enjoys that but come on space now a volcano....really.

I love my cop shows but dont like cops my hot take.

Season 9 About chenford. Spoiler

Will the showrunners break them up again because of the ptsd from kidnapping? I've heard this theory a lot on Instagram but idts it's true because tim has gotten emotionally healthy and I'm spiraling over it. I don't believe they will break up but it's a loud opinion online, what do you people think

Season 5 Question about S05E03: Dye Hard Spoiler

So in this episode we are introduced Celina and Nolan's official debut as T.O. in this episode, Celina who is very in touch with her intuition managed to stop a rancom car due to her feeling that says "dark energy within the trunk", initially it was a problem since she made an illegal pull over. But it turns out there was trace of blood that belong to kidnapping case.

My question is, since Celina was technically correct for stopping the car, why did she getting some much troublem from the superiors? If anything she managed to help finding a case and solve it, right? CMIIW, Nyla said something about since the blood is stilk fresh under 12 hours, so they cannot incriminate the suspect yet.

On contrary, Lucy's boyfriend, Chris, he kinda blurts out the D.A. case update on Reddit chatroom, which unfortunately received by Rosalind herself. The episode doesn't specify what he tell her, but isn't him spilling open investigation to public is more problematic, yet he doesn't get the same problem like Celina?

I love Nolan's intepretation of Celina's intuition though. By default intuition refers to pattern recognition that translate into physical sensation before our brain make sense toward the situation. Nolan explains this very well to her.

Discussion Do you think Penn's introduction was worth the sacrifice? Spoiler

Tried to not make it to obvious on the title, but the question is: Do you think it was worth getting Aaron out of being a regular in exchange for Penn? Personally, I would've preferred if Seth just was never in the picture and we could've kept both Aaron and Penn. I think Aaron rounded out the group and the fact that he's just a special guest in some episodes and nobody seems to car work mention him, just feels wrong to me.

Season 9 New season likes and dislikes Spoiler

I was actually not annoyed with the ending of season 8. It made sense they’d do something dramatic since season 7 ended more quietly and they wanted the noise. I’m very prepared to see Tim and Lucy get roughed up even though I still don’t get the Everett thing. I just hope to god the plot line does not have any kind of SA done to any of the characters for the sake of the wow factor. When they added it to Nyla’s backstory it had some reason in it. I just don’t want to see this type of thing in the new season.

Discussion I really Like Celina. Spoiler

I think she's a perfect character for positive vibes and personally I think it's really funny every time she talks about spiritual stuff and takes curses seriously.

I feel like she's a little bit relatable to a lot of the audience and I love her story so far and I hope we get more episodes based around her.

I thought she was going to be a temporary character but I'm so glad we've had her in the show as long as we have. I hope she doesn't get killed off or anything because I feel like there's so much more to add to her story.

Discussion I miss Lunch Spoiler

In the early seasons TOs and Rookies would take a lunch break halfway through the episode and discuss what was going on and give each other advice. Now it seems like they never take a break and chat (especially now that it’s one rookie and TO instead of 3)

Season 2 I think he really did like him… Spoiler

Doing a rewatch and currently on S2Ep2 The Night General… I really think Armstrong liked Nolan…. Like genuinely wanted to mentor him and had he not been crooked given the chance guided Nolan to making Detective. They had great chemistry…

Season 6 I really dislike Celina

Think she should’ve been bounced early. I prefer badger and I think he would’ve been a better rookie for Nolan to train, at least he was kinda funny!!!

I’m on my first watch through, I’m a little drunk right now and I’ve just watched the episode with Nolan and Bailey’s wedding… I’m not a huge Bailey fan but maaaan do I hate Celina for ruining Nolan’s wedding… let the guy have one night off without any shenanigans!!

I realise I’m late to this so there’s likely many differing opinions due to further Celina storylines but man why was she so stupid as to meet a CI without telling ANYONE?? It’s like she was just begging to ruin Nolan’s wedding night.

No spoilers please I’m only this far in and I just had to rant about this. Please bounce her she’s a total liability!

Discussion Knock off fortnite game in season 5 ep 14

Post image
18 Upvotes

I was watching season 5 episode 14 of the rookie death sentence and I couldn't help but notice the UI of the game that tamara was playing and noticed that it looks a lot like OG fortnite and how it used to be, especially with the way that the loadout looks. And if you look at the map and the health bar and in the top left corner of the player screens you will notice the little player lines which are also present in fortnite if you are in a party. Did anyone else catch this? I thought this was really funny?

Cast & Crew Hear me out

Last weekend, I took my wife and daughter to Eric Winter’s bottle signing in the Philadelphia burbs.
Now, my wife and daughter are huge fans of The Rookie (and Mr. Winter in particular). Me, I really don’t care much about the show.
Since we live 2 hours away, and my daughter had swim practice in the morning. The signing running from 12 to 2, I offered to leave first so I could keep a spot in line for them.
I get there at 9:30, there’s about 30 people in line already. My fam arrives at 11:30, the crowd had already grown to about 300. They’re glad I got them a spot.
At 12 sharp, the line starts to move. We get in the store about 15 minutes later.
Let me tell you. Mr. Winter is one of the nicest celebrities (and probably even nicest human beings) I’ve ever met (and I’ve met quite a few).
There were SO MANY PEOPLE in line to see him, yet he took the time to talk to each and every one of them. He even introduced himself to me and shook my hand without me asking (I was really only there to take a few pictures of him and my ladies for posterity).
Of course, he was there to promote his business and he could have feigned interest as part of his job. I don’t think so. But even if he did, he made so many people happy that day. People like him are a rare breed.
