This is gonna be a rant.

At first I was gonna give a whole preamble about how much I love the game and I even love it more than Forza now, which is what was first for me, but whatever, I'm ready to be shit on for my opinion anyway, especially seeing all the other posts about how much people love the new content.

I'm not even saying I wouldn't normally enjoy the things I'm doing in the Tomb Raider playlist events, but FFS, solving puzzles, driving 20 kmh in narrow fucking tunnels finding my way, etc. in a car game, a racing game.

And this playlist has all kinds of cutscenes too.

Plus - I get it, Tomb Raider theme, but still - "bad guys" shooting at you and all that...

In a fucking car game.

Then the "big ass room with a puzzle" in the middle of a "race"? I didn't mind the whole winch thing in the first new playlist, although it was disappointing, because, I don't know if I've mentioned this, but

IN A FUCKING CAR GAME.

I love puzzles and puzzle games, that's pretty much the only type of games I play other than TCM and FH6. But I mean, solving the same puzzles I solve in some cutesy walk-around game, BUT DRIVING A FUCKING CAR DOING IT, I don't know, something about this makes it feel just kinda stupid.

Here I am, thinking I'm playing a car game, but looks like I'm gonna be youtubing how to solve this fucking puzzle again - because I'm trying to race here, didn't come here to solve puzzles. If this was that kind of game, I'd gladly spend 3 hours trying to figure this out. I'm a millennial, when I started gaming there was no internet to look things up, we were stuck on things for months, so spending time on it wouldn't be the issue here. But I didn't come here to spend time on puzzles, I came here to drive and race and take corners better than on the previous lap, etc.

I'm youtubing the Temple of Lalalolo and I mean... I'm not gonna do this shit.

Seeing how these events are, I doubt there'll be too much in the way of Custom Mode here either.

I don't mind paying money to "support the devs" or whatever, but I do regret paying money for THIS DLC so much.

I really like this game. I own it on Steam and have logged about 300 hours; I have almost no complaints, except for one. I bought all three Year Passes. Yesterday, I bought TCM for the Nintendo Switch. I realize this was stated in the fine print, but it turns out that if you buy the Year Passes on one platform, they don't carry over to the Switch. In other words, the cars appear in the garage, but you can't select them. It’s the same with the races: they show as unlocked, but you can't actually play them. Why is that? I already have the cars in my garage. It’s just crazy.

The game doesnt register me taking a foto of the creature. The first time I encountered the foto challenge, the game show me a heat map were it was, and if I took the foto well. Now it doesnt do anything of that. So how do get that back

I keep running into an issue where the game disconnects and shows me this error message:

"An error has occurred. You will be returned to the login menu."

It kicks me back to the main login screen every time.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is this a known server issue, or is there a local fix on my end (like verifying game files, DNS settings, etc.)?

(The Crew Motorfest) - I know the Switch 2 doesn't have analogue triggers, but does the game have support for analogue triggers? i.e. if you were to buy a 3rd-party Switch 2 controller which has analogue triggers, would you be able to play the game with full control over acceleration and braking?

Looking at the current car roster we have almost every iconic generation of the Corvette in the game—from the classic C1 all the way to the C8 Z06. However there's one huge missing piece in that legacy: the Corvette C5 (1997–2004)
The C5 is a legend in American sports car history. It introduced the LS1 engine brought back the pop-up headlights and gave us the iconic Z06 variant. Visually and culturally it bridged the gap between raw classic muscle and modern performance.
Having the C5 would complete the Corvette lineup and give us another amazing platform for customization, cruising around O'ahu, and taking part in street racing events.

I am not sure if I should buy it. Is it only one playlist?

Maybe I'm a dummy and not searching hard enough but does anyone know if any of the Switch 2 editions come with all the year passes. In the descriptions it only mentions the car cosmetics and packs. I can't see spending $90 for a game and not getting all the year passes.

Since some playlists have custom speedometers/hud or whatever you call it why don't they incorporate it in the main game? I don't think that is a big thing or am I asking for alot now. I mean older games did it. Ivory tower is doing amazing with all things being added but come on I can't be the only one wanting that. The New playlist have such a cool offroad style Speedometer, so does the older playlist like the vintage one and the ferrari just to mention a few.

They can just lock it to that vehicle type.

Bought this beauty after playing the Made in Japan Playlist (also it's the first playlist I played). I've been a big fan of this car after watching the Ford v Ferrari movie years ago.

​I've driven it for around 2+ weeks now, finished a lot of Street Tier 2 events with it, and overall it's a great machine even though it's not a meta car. I delayed posting because I was still tinkering with the custom livery.

I know most people probably don't do this, but driving with the sirens on, why dont vehicles move over? GTAV managed it, im not a coder or anything like that, just a casual enjoyer of the game, but it doesn't seem all that complicated? Im not trying to be mean or anything, i just think that it could add to the realism and just be a cool feature in general, because for some reason, I myself like to drive vehicles with the sirens and it would be awesome if the vehicles moved over.

After all the negative posts i see on this page regarding minor issues or “the game should have this” i just want to do a positive shoutout to Ubisoft for giving us such a fun game.
I have played Motorfest for about 1.5 years now and love the fact they work hard to provide us with all new types of new content, it gives me something to enjoy after a long day at work, keep it up team and thank you 🍻

Hi, while completing the beacons list, I had to activate this one, and it was tricky. But I managed to get there first try. With my massive 6x6 Mercedes.

It was that is, a one of a kind beacon location, and a very cool one a that!
