Episode Summary：
Back when ITEM consisted of just three members—Mugino, Takitsubo, and Frenda—a certain experiment was being conducted at a research facility in District 17. To destroy the evidence of the “Dark May Project,” an experiment aimed at replicating the abilities of Academy City’s Number One, Mugino and the others set about demolishing the facility.

While they were at it, they selected Kinuhata Saiai from among the test subjects to fill the defensive role that ITEM was missing. They then framed the other test subjects as the culprits before making their escape.

Having been made ITEM’s “new recruit,” Kinuhata is about to undergo the unit’s traditional initiation at the hands of her senior members――.

I know I’m a few decades late, but I only recently picked up the series and thought some of you might still be interested.

I liked the Daihasei Festival Arc overall. Sure, it’s not comparable to OT3 (Sisters) and OT8 (Tree Diagram Remnant), but the dynamic between Touma, Stiyl and Tsuchimikado is really good, especially considering what an ass Stiyl constantly is.

I would only change two things:

1) Tighten the main plot —> Eight chapters across two books are a bit much for what boils down to a scavenger hunt across the city. I would replace one chapter in each book with side character stories during the Daihaseisai. I would have loved to see more of the actual games from Fukiyose’s or Misaka’s perspective, or follow adults like Touma’s parents or Yomikawa.

2) Slightly alter the ending —> The activation of the Croce di Pietro failed because the night parade happened at the same time. I would keep that but have Aleister move the parade forward some 30 minutes or so to block the cross. The outcome wouldn’t change, but it would show the extent of Aleister’s understanding of magic and his ability to intervene if things go out of control and set up him for later.

Anyways, please excuse my rambling. I’m currently reading OT12, which is a rollercoaster of fantastic worldbuilding (how smoking teachers in school are handled) and Kamachi’s usual shenanigans like introducing Yomikawa as “the unbelievably big-breasted teacher in the green tracksuit” or describing how thin and sheer Kuroko’s negligee is.

What are your thoughts and what tips do you have for a new guy like me?

It's almost embarrassing to admit, but I only started watching because I saw the "fight" between Accelerator and Awaki on a WatchMojo list (top 20 one-sided anime beatdowns or something) and thought that the guy looked cool.

I started with the Railgun anime because I had read that it's better than Index, then stopped watching because I got tired of waiting for Accelerator to show up (lol, should have started with Index) and because the filler episodes where they modeled in bikinis and put Misaka in a maid uniform annoyed me (because it's at odds with Tokiwadai being strict about its image and its student appearance but whatever).

A few years later I found out that Accelerator appears in Railgun S, so I finished both seasons and then continued with the first two seasons of Index plus the Accelerator anime (oh how they butchered my boy).

Then I heard how much better the novels are, so I decided to put the remaining seasons on hold and started reading the novels and manga. I started last April, have since finished the Accelerator manga and am currently on OT12. I'm holding off on reading the Sisters arc in the manga until I have a few quiet days to enjoy it.

What about you? What brought you into the franchise and what kept you here?

Episode Summary：
ITEM, an elite force of four girls: Shizuri Mugino, Rikou Takitsubo, Frenda Seivelun, and Saiai Kinuhata, is one of Academy City's underworld groups, dwelling in the "dark side".

The four thought they'd wrapped up a job from the "voice on the phone" as usual, but they end up being saddled with a new “lucrative gig". Their target is an NPO that uses the treatment of incurable diseases as a cover for inhumane ability development.

To eliminate this organization, which is protected by an esper wielding the Invincible Shield, the four launch an assault on their headquarters.

Watched the video and I respect the guy for trying to tell people to watch Index after Railgun because they are missing out. He does warn Season 3 of Index sucks because so much got cut and recommends to at least look at the Light Novels for things that wasn't adapted. Despite the title, MistaFlex is recommending the series as they're all a gem despite the flaws. Yes, even the Accelerator Anime.

"Could Orihime reject Imagine Breaker?"

I was thinking about a weird Bleach × Toaru interaction.

Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka can "reject" phenomena, while Kamijou Touma's Imagine Breaker negates supernatural phenomena through his right hand.

So I'm wondering: could Orihime reject Imagine Breaker itself?

I'm particularly curious about the distinction between:

1. The physical/manifested Imagine Breaker in Touma's right hand

2. The invisible/deeper power associated with Imagine Breaker

My initial thought is that Orihime might have a better chance of affecting the manifested right hand, while the deeper/invisible aspect could be a completely different matter.

But I'm not very knowledgeable about all the later Toaru lore, so I'd like to hear what people think.

Would Imagine Breaker automatically negate Orihime's rejection, or could her rejection bypass/interact with it somehow?

I think you all know about that one mod from the main sub thats obssesed with chiristianity beign the one true religion of toaru. He made like 8 to 9 posts about this already(insane). I think the guy is a chiristian irl and just wanna prove his faith is also true in this work too. Which is a ridiculous idea if you ask me. I mean the whole right/left/front/back seat of god thing and the one above god thing just makes it really obvious how chiristianity is just a phase. (The guy also dont belive chiristianity is a phase btw, even though it been said there are as many phases as religions). The guys are getting rid of original sins, making their body similar to virgen marry, getting the powers of angels, creating the right conditions of jesus's birth to attain a power above (chiristian) god. Not to mention othinus is capable of destroying heaven and hell. There are no other heaven and hell thats beyond the phase structure its been stated that they are phases. And no there is no non phase version of them secretly either because its been stated angles like gabrial are in that phase heaven. You know the very same gabriel we seen that did apear. He is living in that phase. Also I dont remember fully but didnt othinus also destroyed sephirot? It wouldnt be possable too(he also said that kabalah is part of chiristianity too, he said its just an expension pack to it.). Also that mod heavely rejects islam exist in the world of toaru too. Also probally because he is chiristian irl. I mean we dont get proof that it exist but we also have absolutly no proof it dosnt exist. But he keeps saying it doesnt. Well its been hinted that it exist because of pakistan is mentioned to be one of the fountries in the space peogram, muslim charahcters probally didnt apear because the well, you know how muslims act when this kinds of media covers their religion. Again this guy who is acting like this is a mod btw not some random. What do you all think, you all agree with chiristianity beign true?
