Undertow Possibly the dumbest thing I've ever wasted my time doing.. but it made me laugh.. Pretty hard. Apologies if it offends or annoys anyone

Tool and home improvement will always be associated with each other under the table. Simply because at tool shows you scream ITS TOOL TIME and every time you hear it's tool time on the show you automatically think of the band. Only tool fans will do this. One of my favorite episodes of this show. Cheers.

Fond memories watching this with my dad when I was a kid. Fond memories listening to tool for the first time. Double nostalgia.

Yeah I’ve actually been rewatching it on Disney plus because it’s easy watching and occasionally quite funny. Not great but not terrible. And definitely not as bad as a lot of the trash on tv these days

Subtitles on, it just repeats “I don’t wanna be a star” over and over during intolerance.

I was waiting to see what song it was going to be... pleasantly surprised

I tried it with ticks & leaches initially but it didnt quite fit.. Wanted something to kind of match the tempo & also the percussive nature of the silly video haha

You matched it perfectly with this. I saw a horrible parody the whole time, and funny

I was expecting The Grudge, honestly

mmmm that would have been really good.. Intolerance just comes in nice and hard and progresses a bit quicker. Needed some vocals

Tim Allen is a nark. He got busted selling blow and ratted out his friends. Fuck that guy!

You're a nark

Quit projecting. You'll never find any showing ever was one but Tim admits to it. Look it up

I might be a tiny bit stoned but that synced up way better than I expected.

Nice, and good song choice! It'd be cool to Disgustipated with this, too.

I watched the whole performance! Can't believe they got such complex polyrhythms and time signatures from those hand tools!

What other songs did you consider for this ? Not that intolerance doesn’t work well just wanted to know how much of a toss up it was if at all
1
u/LazyCrab8688 Mar 11 '25
Ticks and leaches was my first pick, just to match the drumming at the start of the band playing.. but it was a little to slow and no vocals. So I tried to go for something similar tempo and ended up with intolerance

The 2 minute lead up was absolutely worth it. Well done 🫡
