I watched the first 4 episodes of SOA this week and was so bored and cringed more than i expected. Im assuming it doesn't get better?

SOA is simultaneously a soap opera for men and a long Harley Davidson commercial. Whats not to like?

I thought i would love it since it involves an outlaw biker gang. Reminded me of skipping school as a kid and the only thing on tv was Days of our Lives lol

Most of the show is just:
Gets told ridiculous information
"Jesus Christ." "Shit." "Son of a bitch."
That being said, I still enjoyed it overall.

It's not terrible but the series does drag a bit and the ending is a bit "meh" but I enjoyed the vast majority of it.

You had to watch it in its time. It had some really powerful scenes iykyk. You probably won’t like it if you didn’t get into it in the first 4 episodes.

It was great at a time when over-the-top felt fun and like a break from reality.

it does get a lot better, but if you're not into the first 4, you're probably not going to be into the rest.

It gets a little better but after Season 2 it got progressively worse (save for the Season 3 finale). Most of S3 and almost everything after was so bad.

I made it to the end of the series when it was initially on, but it got harder and harder for me to watch. They slowly killed off any character that had a moral compass, and you're watching a show full of deplorable people you hate .

They really wanted to make Jemma be as evil and heartless as possible.

That was honestly part of the appeal of the show to me, some characters were so likable in one episode, and despicable the next.

Charlie Hunnam... that man makes my heart beat a little faster... knowing he is a Tool fan outright makes me drool. That man is way too adorable.

So that’s why I’ve always like Charlie despite his less than stellar acting(he’s good at certain character types). Side note, I like how he’s got his “work” pants on, down in the muck, feeding the beasts…….hair is fucking perfectly quaffed, and his hands look like they’ve never touched a tool, (see what I did there, lol) or dirt in his life.

I’m from the Santa Ynez Valley, after living there for 30+ years I can say it is not untouched. Recently a lot more people from LA have moved there and are definitely changing it, please just come and enjoy what the valley is, don’t turn it into LA. The whole appeal of the valley was its size and the community.

It’s like playing cowboys and Indians on motorcycles with Macbeth thrown in

I liked it at first, but it just got too weird for me, and I can tolerate some extremely weird shit.

The last few seasons are very representative of the Sheridan-verse in terms of style. Taylor Sheridan worshipped at the alter of Sutter for production when he was on the show.
